Fix- XBOX One Disc NOT Reading!

I was having the same issue as well the way it worked for me was by holding the xbox console bottom for 10 seconds for power cycle and when I went back to download the game it actually worked hope this helps man

It was happening to me as well the way I got it to work was by holding the Xbox console bottom for power cycle and turned it back on again to install the game and it actually worked which the disc was read hope this is helpful

Hell yeah bro I did exactly what you did , I lifted up the the Xbox and I put the disc half way in and held my finger in the middle of the disc and waited for it to pull my disc and played tug of war 😂 for like 2 seconds and then let it go and boom ! it worked 🤝 . Dust can definitely make some discs unreadable. It happened to me. There was so much dust that it would say certain discs are unreadable but it worked on my brother's Xbox One.

Take off the lil piece that your usb is on once you pop that you can clean the dust off that eject side and should work perfectly

Thank you so much. My disc was clean and it worked on my other Xbox but not this one. I followed one of your instructions and powered of my Xbox as well as unplugging my cords. I waited about a minute then plugged it back in and turned my Xbox on. I worked thank you so much

For those who might have this problem in the future, the thing that worked for me was to let the "play disc automatically" option from [devices & connections --> disc] section activated.

I rotated mine but what fixed it was standing the Xbox up with the Xbox light on thee bottom and then inserting the disc. I also did a hard reset prior to doing this . NBA 2K24 here I come !😅

I was having that same exact issue I figured it out the way it works is you have to hold the Xbox console button for 10 seconds for a power cycle went to download the game again it officially worked and didn't stop the download hope this is helpful to everyone as well
