Nice one Lucy. I got 5/5 but I have to admit I often struggle with that one, especially because I work with both English and American colleagues 🙂. Another one which I found tricky is whether to use singular or plural after every+noun and each+noun
@Histogramas Жыл бұрын
What is noum ?
@geoffraygregoire3220 Жыл бұрын
Typo, I meant noun not noum
@Histogramas Жыл бұрын
@@geoffraygregoire3220thank you. English is not my native language so I thought it could be something else. You could edit your answer, then. Make it right. ;)

I'd like to admit that I'm still learning english and not sufficiently good at english.But,in my knowledge, you have to use singular noun after every and each.

Thank you for this video, Lucy! Maybe you can also do a video on the if-clauses. In AE it has become super common to say: 'If I would have known this I would have done it differently'. Also people tend to skip the past perfect saying something like: 'If I knew this I would have done it differently' instead of 'If I had known this I would have done it differently.'
@steveknight878 Жыл бұрын
I would say "Had I known this, I would have done it differently" - just a different way of saying it.
@talkinghand122 Жыл бұрын
@steveknight878 I like yours better. The whole phrase implied a silent "if." It's just my thought.
