Mr. Wildman you are the F'ing greatest. No one teaches KBell, HClub etc ... like you. I said it before and I'll say it again. You have changed my life. I listened to you, I put my faith in you, I did what you said and now I am reborn. Anybody read this, this is not a paid pump, Mr. Wildman is the "real deal." After 40 years at a desk job my hips are in bad shape. Shin box, knee drops and frog stretch are helping me regain mobility and reduce pain. I need to try this loaded version of shin box. A year and a half ago I could not do the shin box up to the knees movement or shin box with hands on knees. Mark puts these in the warm ups of the programs I have purchased and they are really making a difference.

I second this, Ankle mobility is a huge issue for many and also has a big impact on the rest of your health.

Have to say on this subject ! ( bear with me ) , I had a bad ankle break, I'm convinced tgu's restored a lot of ROM ( there is the regression to the mean argument ), and to back this up, I know scar tissue was getting it ! ( could feel the progress ) , it makes sense as the ankle goes through various positions under weight during the full tgu movement, restoring strength and mobility in a somewhat unpredictable way, I'd start there :)

@@cioran1754 The only time in the past decade or so that right ankle seemed to function properly, was after I fractured my left tibia and spend 2 months on crutches. Then it went back to being a stiff mess.

Do something to help people in wheelchair, I feel I am in a wheelchair because my hips or week,doc gave up lose wieght,I do agree , But after that they don't know what to do..My right hip is week I can feel that

I am not close to being upright with my shin box even sitting on a 2” pad. Should I go even higher before attempting with a kb? In other words, should I be upright before adding weight?

We do bodyweight shinbox exercises in Taw Kwon Do. I have a similar issue on my left side so the adjustment is to put your hands on the ground behind you, and then do a shinbox on alternating sides. Get this going first. Try to get higher and more upright while using your hands for support behind you. I would get comfortable with this before adding weight as weight might put allot of stress on your back.

Is there a specific benefit to using the floor mat? Would it be better or worse to use carpeted floors, or even harder surfaces (aside some the obvious benefit of comfort)

So I can't do the shin box, AT ALL.What is wrong with me, I sit a lot, I have lower left back pain and my left leg is starting to give me problems, I'm a 56 year old male. Is there some kind of exercise to lose me up?
