Thanks David, these tips are greatly appreciated. After struggling for what seems ages trying to learn a new technique, a point comes where it just "clicks" and comes together, usually when you are not consciously thinking about it. It all comes down to getting these little but extremely important subtleties, which you have clearly explained, firmly embedded into muscle memory. One day I hope I can execute these techniques as beautifully and effortlessly as you 🙂

Awesome video. I’m 5’3 and I wrestled growing up so this technique comes naturally for me. I won my first tournament with basically just O Goshi 😂

I love your videos. As a 63 year old 6th kyu, there is so much to learn. I’m tall and light and O-goshi gives me real problems. I’m making all the mistakes you describe and doubtless more. I need to get this one right for my next grade. Thank you!

@@TheJudoWayofLife Just got my 5th kyu! Still trying to perfect o goshi. As I said, being tall and light (and weak and old!) I find any lifting throws hard - my knees don't bend far enough. But I am getting better and loving every minute of it. Thanks for all your great videos. I keep coming back to them, and this one is really helpful.

I have the shoulder problem sometimes in randori but the sleeve detail was my biggers error so I´ll try that correction this evening. Thanks for sharing.
