Fix Your p2096 Code Easy! (from a upstream 02 sensor)

This is the full replacement of the upstream 02 sensor on my 2006 Subaru Outback xt just a note there could be many reasons for this code in your so be sure to eliminate those before you buy an expensive sensor! Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe!

I got the same code in my G37 and the code reader says posible cause for that fault is to check the flanges at the down pipes.

P2096 is triggered by downstream sensor but not upstream!

Nobody seems to understand the difference between upstream and downstream. Or pre cat and post cat🤦🏼‍♂️

I replaced all 3 sensors on my 2008 dodge Durango. Put about 1200 miles on it. And the code showed up again? Now what?

check your cat converter, which made the new sensor bad

Probably because he did replace the downstream sensor.

You may have a vacuum leak or even a dirty mass airflow sensor

@@mightymotors2074 yes, I was thinking a vacuum leak as my MAF sensor is clean. Hopefully my Catalytic converter is still good but I've heard there are more codes for that, but I only have the p2906

I’m not 100% what the other codes would be but I know that a vacuum leak is really common
