Hey everyone! This is a compilation of older videos. There are a few things I'd change and phrase differently, but I'll leave this up! These are just the exercises that worked well for me. They may or may not be the fix to your problems. However, all of the main exercises represent movements and postures that I believe a healthy human should be able to do. So if you can't do them, it may still be worthwhile to build up. If you have doubts or questions, feel free to ask your doctor, physical therapist, or other medical professional, before trying. When in doubt, there's no need to do it!

Hey hampton! These exercises actually work wonder for me. Within days my body that was leaning a bit forward before has started to stand up straight. I did not expect it to happen this soon but I guess since my posture problem werent too severe before I did not need to wait long for my posture to recover. Thank you and I hope you have a very nice day!

if you redo this series you should emphasize that when you say "back flat against the wall" it's actually possible to have your whole back touch the wall, when I started out I misunderstood you because I honestly didn't think it was possible to have my back flat against the wall, and other people might have a similar problem now I can tho, so thanks! but only when I tense my abs and glutes
@seekNdestroy2173 жыл бұрын
For the first posture exercise is bad if there a gap at the lower back portio ? Or should it also be touching the wall?
@guy-hb4cz3 жыл бұрын
@@seekNdestroy217 completely flat, like your back is a straight line. I couldn't do it at first, you need to flex your glutes and abs. I wasn't flexing my abs properly, apparently your stomach should be sucked in when flexing abs, not just tensed up. took me a few weeks of planks and doing stuff from this video to get my back completely flat, but it's possible

Yes, "mere fitness of the body." Physical fitness is amazing for so many reasons. But if our minds, spiritual connection, character, and relationships are weak, then I think we're missing the bigger picture.
@dragonslayer58093 жыл бұрын
@@dancingshiva7008 my friend, fitness embodies ALL. Spiritual aspect in fitness is generally called 'cognitive function'. The reason most people doesn't know this is because A LOT of instagram or tiktok fitness "influencer" and even fitness youtuber rarely talks about this. Cognitive function includes things such as mental toughness, neuroplasticity, focus, emotional intellegence, and much more. All of this can be trained, and most importantly, the result will carry over into making you a better person.

Dude I really get what you mean I have these really low months where my brain’s like “never eat. Starve to death.” And I feel like a piece of shit whenever there’s anything in my stomach. I also become obsessive over exercise when I’m like that, to a degree where it’s simply self harm. Usually the stop-eating voice is just an annoyance at the back of my mind, easily tuned out. But when I’m like that, it’s like there isn’t any other voice. Last time it happened though, the things that Hampton say in his videos were a little voice of sanity in the back of my mind. Still easily tuned out unfortunately but there nonetheless which is better than I can usually say

Hey Hampton... I have to thank you buddy... for all you did for me... I had a very bad posture... was a heavy guy in school (280 pounds) and tried to hide my man boobs by rounding my shoulders forward... 9 years of this behaviour took a toll on my posture... but now I have a good posture (not the best one but keep training) and even started to gain muscles and define my body I am at 205 pounds now... but its fine as I am 6'4" (193cm)... thanks for all man! greetings from Austria

Hampton, thank you so much! I'm 25 years old now and I wish I met you earlier. I was overweight when I was 16. My weight was around 100 kg (whereas my height is 173 cm). I practiced running for 2 years and I spent 5 years exercising in a gym. I lost weight and gained a considerable amount of muscles (my weigh was 71-73 kg), but there were 5-7 kg I wanted to get rid of. It was extremely hard and I thought that it was even impossible :) And when the pandemia started and all the gyms were closed, I tried functional training and yoga. I also started to walk a lot. So I've been practicing it for a year, however, now I do it rarely (one time per week) because the rest of the time I do calisthenics. Your training routine (written on the website) is incredibly useful and effective. My weight is 65 kg now :) Thank you again for your videos, mindset and energy you're sharing with everyone via your videos :) and greetings from Russia :)

I know that this comment will be one of thousands, but on the off chance you see this I want to tell you something. You are an inspiration. I am happy with my body but i want to be stronger and turn my fat into muscle. I want to be happier in my skin. I have been following you on just about everything and you have given me so much motivation to not be afraid to start easy and work my way up. I used to be embarrassed to do "girl" excersises. Its nice to be a part of a community that believes everyone starts at a different level. So for that, i give great thanks to you! Thank you for inspiring me. ❤❤

I just wanted to thank you for this video. For years, I've had upper back pain when walking. I have to sit a lot for my job and I knew that was the problem. The first exercise in this video completely fixed my back pain. I did the 15 reps morning and night for about a month. You were totally right - it was lazy muscles just needing to be woken up. It's part of my daily routine now.

These are great exercises, deceptively hard to do. As soon as you've finished you've gone from slouching and struggling to stand straight, to standing straight and struggling to slouch... At least for a few minutes. Amazing, thank you so much.

Dude that first exercise feels SO good!!! It looks so easy but when I tried it there was so much pain in my back muscles and I really feel how lazy they have been. Damn!

No wonder you have so many subscribers! Your mellow personality and genuine demeanor makes you stand out from all the rest. I learned a lot and I actually want to get up and work on the exercises you mentioned. I loved the contrast from just doing basic exercises like your back flat up against the wall to “do a bridge” 😂🤣 I was very impressed with your flexibility too! The last time I did a bridge was when I was 12 years old. With a lot of stretching and practice I’m sure I can do it at 52
