Fun fact: when I injured my knee, I had to pistol-squat to pet my dog (mini dachshund, so close to the ground) (and also to sit on the ground in general, but my dog takes priority)

Best exercise influencer on the web imo. He also doesn't push for some perceived physical peak of perfection that one must achieve in order to feel good enough.

Ginger and garlic are a gamechanger!! When I feel any symptoms of feeling sick (scratchy throat, sneezing, stuffy nose) I get the tubes of ginger paste & garlic paste from the grocery store, and put them in a chicken noodle soup. and I drink drops of liquid vitamin c, to the throat - don't wash it down with water! :) It's beat every illness that tried to take hold.

I used to walk a lot. And I even started running in short bursts and loved it, I hadn't "run" anywhere since high school! But I overdid it and got plantar fasciitis and had to take a break... put on some weight as a result, I'm scared of starting and fucking my feet up again :(

Reminds me if of my Parents family who grew up in the village 😂....the natural strength is admirable especially at a time where survival was important either you sleep or starve. My mom always talks about my Grandmother's strength n resilience in farming. My mom got her skills to farm her garden at home 😊. So when my mom talks about her mother she talks with admiration. Me however my gardening skills lack😅..I know few basics but I struggle to use a hoe to make deep heeps, for the sweet potatoes. I know how to atleast plant the potatoes vines, harvest the cassava aka muhogo plants n prepare for cooking😂 *Just to name a few*

Videos like these kind of hit me weirdly... My struggle is not time. I have plenty of time. My struggle is pain. I have chronic pain and flu-like symptoms. I've been to the doctor numerous times and they can't find anything wrong, so I don't have a diagnosis to guide me. I'm autistic, so a part of it may just be ~jittery neurons~, or it may be fibromyalgia, or something else entirely. My point is that my chronic pain is not related to injury or another clear-cut cause. And I really, really struggle to get myself moving when I'm in pain. But not moving just makes me further deteriorate. And I'm struggling to find good advice on how to develop sustainable habits for movement through chronic pain and flu-like feelings of ick... Do you have any advice? Is this a topic you could address in a video? I'd greatly appreciate that.
