Very interesting and makes a lot of sense. I think a great example of an actor using their voice as well as their physicality effectively is the famous line Glenn Close gives in Fatal Attraction when she tells Michael Douglas: "I'm not going to be ignored Dan". The way she pounces on the last part of the word IGNORED...she focuses oddly enough on NORED..and lengthens it. It highlights her extreme personality. She also facially is exaggerated as well...mostly around the word IGNORED. It's a master class on taking a fairly straight forward short sentence and making it one of the most remembered line readings of the decade.
