What a nice drill to do to unlearn the waiter's serve ( which I too have done ) and induct rhe proper way to prepare! Thank you. I am doing my best to pronate on my serve and found this video. Like you said nothing comes easy but I firmly believe I will not only learn it but teach it to my students. You see I am a tennis coach.

Milan, a quick question after these tips. When correcting waiter's serve, how to stop afraiding to hit your head with the racket while saluting "Sir, yes sir!"))

Great video! Thank you. I don't have a waiter tray serve, but I struggle with pronation and curve around the ball too much resulting in a lot of slice but very little power. I think these tips will still help me finally fix my serve.

I pronate my serves using the racquet butt Because that allows my shoulder and everything else to follow through and also keeps the strings all out of the way of the ball.
@annikathomas66852 жыл бұрын
Hold up!!! I need to know how you do this! This sounds great. Can you tell me?

When you are taught the right technique by the coach to go through the serve progressions then you can just blast the serves all through the court with effortless power like Millan does... I prefer to drive my serves using the butt and also use it for my groundstrokes especially the forehand and the backhand slice.Its just a preference thing I prefer driving more with the butt than driving with the strings..

Hello milan great video!!can you analyze the roll of the wrist because other coaches talk about the ulnar diviaton in the trophy position that the wrist should be and then when you rotate the wrist automatically goes to a radiant diviation i think the term is called liked this may be i am wrong.i would like to tell me your opinion for all of these terms and general the wrist action.thank you

Oh man I was going to ask you to create such a video, but you just did it ^____^ Thank you so much, it's immensly helpful -- though I'm having trouble with very shallow drop. If I try to drop deeper, I can't hit the ball in time D:
