Thank you! Watch other videos but could not remove the spray arm. Using a mirror to see the tab did the trick. Nice if they put the tabs where you could see them.

When I replaced mine, I didn’t flip it over and take it apart. I just unscrewed the spray arm base from the top and screwed the new one in. No leaks, no problems.

Can’t remove rubber gasket??? Solution???

Is there a reason you're taking the coupler off the bottom instead of unscrewing the base from inside the dishwasher?

For anyone else who had a bitch of a time removing that rubber part there's a hack. Get a 2-in PVC pipe and insert it inside, then tighten the clamp around the PVC pipe/rubber. Then turn (you might have to have someone else hold the base inside the dishwasher).

Our gasket will NOT budge in order to remove the spray arm base. We’ve done all the prior steps but it won’t turn counter-clockwise. We’ve tried pliers and pulling and everything! Tips?
