Another thing to want to try is using the rear sway bar on the 2500 suburban for the single cab 1500 which doesnt have one at all.... im may swap the whole 8.1 rearend and put in my short box not sure yet

That’s the first time I’ve ever heard someone say he’s heard others say don’t solder. What’s the rationale for that? I always feel guilty for not soldering. :)

I solder everything too. Apparently in areas of high vibration the solder can cause the wires to crack or something like that, I didn’t pay too much attention cause I had soldering to do

I don't like the solder in my GMT800 because some of the wires get too hot. My cigarette lighter wasn't working so when I pulled it apart to check, the solder had all melted off the connection. Just tied it together with some wire and haven't had an issue since.
