One aspect of the United States that I find challenging is the generally high noise level in restaurants, bars, and pubs. I live in Vienna, and dining out in my hometown is quite a different experience. When going on a date, it's almost as if we have to raise our voices to have a conversation, and I struggle to comprehend why that's necessary. When I travel abroad, it's often easy for me to identify Americans solely by their volume when speaking. Interestingly, many of them seem to adapt to European standards of quieter dining when they spend some time here. Please don't misunderstand me; I genuinely appreciate the warm and friendly nature of Americans. I haven't had the opportunity to dine in some of the more upscale restaurants in the USA, which I understand can offer a more tranquil atmosphere. At times, I yearn for company in a more relaxing setting, but it appears that this privilege is often reserved for wealthier Americans.
@peyton.simpson Жыл бұрын
@@Sebastian_Koenig_ You're telling me London or Amsterdam are quiet? Its like any big cities, the reason you think Americans are loud is probably because you only travel to large cities mostly due to the popularity. Plenty of small quaint cities in any country, but they are mostly left untouched by tourists. Also as a tourist you are probably in the busiest parts of the cities as that is where tourists dwell, which by nature is gonna loud.

NYC and the word "peaceful" never ever, ever, never never never never correlates. Never, I repeat, never I used to live there, it's a place of anxiety, fear, deceit, toxicity, distrust, traitory, feminism, hatred, liberal Again, it never ever ever ever is peaceful. How dare you? Quad Lock. Get a Quad Lock case for your phone and then the mount for the bike. It’s not even a half second to get it on and off. There are similar locking type mounts and cases and knock offs, but Quad Lock is the beast.
@mybigdebutt Жыл бұрын
Do you use an allen key to get on and off or is there a sort of quick release version out there?
@PTRRanger951 Жыл бұрын
@@mybigdebuttnothing is needed. The case has the slots for it for the phone and it rotates a quarter turn on the mount and locks on. The mount has a little paddle you press down and then you rotate the phone a quarter back and lift it off. There are many different mounts for motorcycles, bikes, cars, desks etc. You don’t even need the phone case they sell a stick on portion you can stick onto your phone or a slick case and use it with the mounts. Search KZbin for “quad lock phone” and you can see what I am talking about.

what’s the difference between a fixie and a track bike
@brianraley686 Жыл бұрын
Fixie refers to any bike that has a fixed back wheel (you can't coast). Track bikes refer to bikes used for well, tracks (velodrome). Track bikes are usually fixies as far as I'm aware

@@Vtoq All track bikes are fixies, but not all fixies are track bikes.
@wonjez3982 Жыл бұрын
track bikes are specifically for racing, so higher grade materials and parts. afaik track bikes got no auxilliary brakes as on a race track you dont need to brake, while normal day fixies sometimes do, also fixies are more casual, f.ex more comfortable upright geometry for long rides and less stiffness in the frame for any bumps (?)
@DrBachlava Жыл бұрын
Track bikes means they belong and pass track rules (drop bars, high bottom bracket, no coast, etc). “Fixie” is a word that mostly beginners use to say “fixed”. So all track bikes are “fixies” (fixed) but not all fixies are track bikes.

Mounts are for people who don’t know the city very well and need to look at their gps constantly. Most couriers just use a phone pouch and just know how to get there from memory or listen to the gps give directions. It’s honestly safer this way because you’re not looking at your phone and can focus on the road.
