Thanks for this tutorial. It taught me how to test and troubleshoot my dryer. Turns out I had the exact problem with a bad heating element. I was able to repair my dryer for under $30 instead of paying hundreds for a repair man.

Would you happen to know when everything lights on, but when it’s time to have the dryer to run, it’s doesn’t turn on?

Check voltages! See what you’re getting to the motor relay and what comes out when you try to start. Or, try to spin-start the dryer by holding the door switch and spinning the drum as you turn on the dryer
