I own a R129 300Sl-24 that had been sitting in my garage for 10 years and was resting on the floor with the wheels touching the fenders. Thanks to your tutorial, I bled the hydraulic system and managed to get the suspension up. This not only has saved me money but it was very fun to do as I'm not an expert mechanic at all... thanks!

Great work, I have a 95 SL500 too but it doesn’t have ADS. Interesting to watch you fault find though. Your scanner interface & round socket looked interesting are they readily available? I must check eBay etc. I have a misfire, sort of stumbling at idle and a little difficulty hot starting. I checked the caps etc but think it might be injectors presume that would through up a fault code?

Thanks Kevin, Scanner was a great choice for most of the mercedes I have a different video for detail of the scanner, the 38 pin adaptor I bought separately from Ebay and it is specific to my scanner. I had short test drive and the car drives like on air and great suspension wise. Engine wise I still need to sort out the hesitation after warm-up... Also the fuel inside my tank is at least 8 month old and that is one thing to look at. Yes I have heard M119 is very sensitive to Caps, wires and plugs...

Hard to answer this questions, as it depends to the milage, recent services and the work that has been done on the car as well as overall condition of the car.

I have 91 SL300 24v with ADS. It will go up, but wen I push button nothing hapens . Manualy i can lower it. Al 4 balls have been replaced with new ones. Only leak i have is on the distributor in the engine bay.
