Amazing video brother... Dealership quoted me $2500... Just did the work myself and used your video as a guide. It took me a solid hour plus to remove the glue... Used goo gone and cleaning patches from my gun cleaning kit. Just reinstalled the screen in the car and I am getting some ghost button pushes on the bottom right but maybe it will resolve. Thank you

Just pulled screen out of 2018 trackhawk. It had made in china on back label and ousing sticky glue out bottom with delamination at top. Clock was always saying reset and other random selections I guess from contact between digitizer and lcd screens. LA084X01 SL01 will try tape or cheap screen/digitizer from china aliexpress

Pulled old screen apart and cleaned all glue off. Used thin skinny double sided tape and put digitizer back on. It all worked but digitizer has worn spots from fingers selections. My new cheap china complete screen digitizer arrived. Fitted it and works perfect. Noted it was a SL02 and apparently improved version for gum problem leaking. Note if back of radio casing comes off screen be careful as two circuit boards in back with aluminium spacers holding apart in corners. These spacers are clamped by the 4 of 6 screws removed to take screen off.

Do you have to change out the digitizer?? Or can u just give it a good cleaning?

Ok so I did the fix and everything worked, but I’ve noticed that there is one spot where the digitizer is making contact with the lcd screen (I must have pushed too hard) and now the screen has started to go haywire. Is there any way to make sure this doesn’t happen? I’m going to have to take it off and stop them from touching, but I’m guessing this is what the glue was originally for?
