fixed it, thanks for this video. I didn't know that you had to keep tightening the screws until it was fully tight on each side... I thought that I just had to tightened both of them once... no wonder my handle bars were moving so much... videos like this are lifesavers lol...

Help me, after i install my headset i see that The gap between dust cover and the head tube also the gap betweet the lower head tube and upper leg got skewed, but no play no stuck, it spin freely, but i'm still affraid with that skewed gap, is my steertube bend? Or is it the bearing problem? (The headset is not a brand new btw)

i tightened my compression bolt for the forks too much, they still only just spin but dont sound the best, ive snapped 3 allen keys in the process plus stripped the actual bolt (not the threads that connect it to the fork). the pinch bolts arent even needed because its so compressed, how can i fix this??? D:

Can you make a video about Bmx tires? Im about 160lbs. Everytime i take my bike for a ride, the Wheels just starts losing alot of air. The wheels' PSI is 40. (I know its not the best PSI) Im thinking about getting a new bike with stronger wheels, But i dont know if it would help. Any suggestions?

+IboPlays Yea we can make a video about that. 40psi a little low to me. I usually ride 60-80psi and I'm 140lbs.. Higher quality tires are usually rated around 100-120psi max.

Generally, most bmx products use an allen head bolt that takes a 6mm allen key.

+.::Roy::. The difference in those sizes is not very much. Mostly preference in feel. I Personally suggest a 20.75" because I'm 188cm tall and ride a 21 comfortably.. 21 is a popular standard, so you can't go wrong with it, but I personally feel a 20.75 would suit you better.

I'm a tad new, I dented a few spokes in a crash, would I want to replace them, or will they hold up?

+RoboWarrior If the spokes are not cracked or broken than you should be fine.. Spokes can be bent a little but never cracked or broken in 2. The crash might have bent the rim but as long as the spokes are only bent and not broken you can re-true the wheel.

Unless you buy from a reputable bike shop, the spokes can be loose to begin with, even as you ride, they will need to be tuned until they properly stretch and seat themselves. Take your bike to the shop, and get the wheels trued and spokes tensioned. It'll make it feel a whole lot more reliable to be running nicely tuned wheels.

+Dull ARKHAM Make sure you have enough spacers, in between the stem and frame, so the top cap isn't bottoming out.. If you don't have enough spacers it won't fully tighten down on the bearings.

You have to use grease on you’re bearings to help it spin correctly/ smoothly

It looks like u thigh tried the pinch bolts first than the compression bolt and that's bad y will end up striping your bolts and hav a hard tim removing your stem off the forks

+DARK BLITZ No we didn't do that. We even said in the video that you have to tighten the cap first.. You actually can't tighten the pinch bolts first or the bearings never seat and always stay loose

+DARK BLITZ I see what you mean now. My stem is soo loose on the forks that they need one of the bolts to be barely seated to line up the wheel.. It's so loose that if you don't do it the bars will basically fall out of alignment as you tighten them. Just one of those little quirks my combination of parts have.

Make sure you have the correct bearings for your application. Integrated bearings can sometimes stick out of the frame by a few millimeters, depending on how the steer tube of your frame is made.

+WizDev That's a hard choice. It is very easy for someone to lie about a bike and get away with it unless they are talking with someone who knows enough. If you don't know a lot about the prices of bikes and what they are made out of it will be best to buy NEW.. Since you only have 250 to spend you won't get a bike with everything but you can get a bike with some good parts as a building block. Most people customize their bike before getting rid of it and some customize so much over time they never have to buy another bike. They just replace parts until it eventually becomes a totally different bike.. The whole bike won't break at once and you can buy replacements of whatever as you go.. Some Lower priced bikes with better parts are from companies like Fit Bike co. Subrosa Brand SE Bikes Wethepeople Bmx
