Yes I’d really like to see that . I assumed inside the motor box , you could dig through the black sealant and find lithium ion cells and then replace them and pour some type of new sealant over them .

Hi I also got donated the same robot cleaner, the batteries needed replacement and as you probably know maytronics would not sell you only the batteries but the whole motor assembly.

If You cut into the black sealant you can get into the batteries

Hi, can you help me? I lost the cap from the control pod , can you tell me if this one is just for water sealing or does it create a contact?

The cap covers the charge terminals . If water gets inside the area , it cannot go into the wiring because it is sealed inside . The concern is corrosion of those terminals. I’d at least wrap some cling wrap over the area and then tightly wrap rubber bands around the cling wrap . That section usually sits above the water anyway . Good luck .
