I have the same controls. Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to raise the bed. I knew I was doing it right, but nothing... Then, figured out I had to pull super hard. Mine thankfully goes up and down no problem. Actually goes down fast. Bought mine from an excavation contractor that was retiring.

I don’t remember off hand how long the rod was maybe 5’? You’ll need to measure your application. Make sure everything lines up properly.

I didn't see how you connected the rod to the lever

@@ricoterry3427 I believe starting right around the 4:30 mark in the video I start explaining and building that part. The bushing I used was something I had laying around but you could probably use like a piece of black pipe or something.

The PTO cable wasn’t the problem on mine, I replaced the hydraulic control cable with the rod and lever. The rod goes to the hydraulic control.. is your cylinder double acting? Meaning power up and down?? Some aren’t, they are power up and free float down

@@ricoterry3427 the problem is, the make and model of the truck doesn’t matter at all, I know my truck has had at least 2 different bed/lift combinations through its life. Best bet would be to find a truck upfitter in your area and talk with them. Typically they can be very helpful.
