Thanks for letting me know that the meter needs to be read when you stop pushing the lever.

Have you had to recharge your car since this video?

It's still cold, but it hasn't been in the 90s and 100s yet. I'll post an update if I need to charge it again.

same motor here. my low side pressure is 35 psi, but the inside temperature doesn't get down from 60 degrees. Do you think I should take it to 40 or 45 psi?. I have never done any services or added any freon since I bought the car in 2008
@jonathanDIYs2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the outside temperature. Please look at this chart: www.rechargeac.com/how-to/ac-system-pressure-chart For 85 degree weather, it should be in the 45-55 psi level on the low side. It should only be 35 psi for 70 degrees. I don't know what the temperature is in your area, but I would guess that the pressure is low.

Mine stays at 58-60 no matter what. I do live in Phoenix AZ where it’s 110 on a good day during the summer on average. I’m assuming this makes a difference.

@@azolivas yeah, according to the chart - anything over 95 degrees will be 50-55 pounds on the low pressure side - www.rechargeac.com/how-to/ac-system-pressure-chart.

You should show people how to connect properly by ensuring the connector locks in
