Fixing Communication Issues Oculus Go controller

I've had three of these and the controllers have always given issues. Not with the communication but when replacing the battery the led does not light on. Have cleaned the inside, fresh batteries and still nothing. Just a faulty crappy product...

@@jaydenmiller5472 using a plastic pry tool, pop off the buttons ( watch a vid). You'll see a ribbon cord underneath. You'll see where it goes. You need to flip up a tiny locking bar on the connection. Using a plastic tweezers, reinsert the ribbon cable all the way in,and push small locking bar down. If you don't have experience working on small stuff like this unfortunately it's going to be a little tough for you. But it can be done.

thanks so much for the video I thought my controller was broken if it was not for your video thanks so so, so much your a money saver I am glad it is not broken I have been saving this headset for my grandbaby when she turns 13 or is it 10? she is only 7 right now she wanted me to let her play on my oculus quest 1 but I told her she has to wait till she is 13 then I will give her my oculus go her place she lives now not enough room in her moms apartment thanks for your help with this have a bless day!!!

I tried all this and didnt work. What have worked for me was cleaning with lemon and a little bit of cotton the battery connection (it was sulfatated) and after, using foil put it more adjusted, after, unmatched the controler in the app and that worked

There is no settings option in my app. I cannot unpair it. I have factory reset twice now. Once to use for myself (received from someone else who had to password) and again today because nothing works. No light at all. Other comments on websites say this unpairing is common and they jus bought new controller but it unpairs on battery changes. It’s frustrating.

Didn't work for me. Unpaired, re-paired, says 100% on the app but 0% on the oculus. Made a factory reset, no effect.
