Fixing Eachine ProDVR Bug

In the last video (DVR Comparison) I discovered that there was a bug in the Eachine ProDVR firmware so I wasn not able to change the video quality or "Size" as in the menu. Here we upgrade the frimware to get rid of the bug.

Well I have really interesting news for you... My HMdvr stop working probably around 4 flights ago "On my MaX-8 Skywalker! and was really frustrated.. I have the dvr on the plane because I don't want not one seen my OSD Data log.. but want to post my flights! My Plane have actually really working nice & I want to see the FPV at home again... Well I did contact the vendor on Ebay and he send me the same firmware that you used... Now my HMDVR Is working as it should and it actually is capable to record on HD "Since mine never did it b4... I use the information you posted to make the firmware update and it actually worked very well thank you very much...

my eachine googles have that same menu but it works, if I was to format a card im my goggles then put it in the pro dvr do you think it would somehow magically fix the pro dvr??

I have done the update and it stays in hd but every time I power off and then back on again I have to choose hd again. Any idea why this is?

Yes, you probably can. The DVR takes an analog video signal so as long you feed an anlog signal it will work. As far as I know all RunCam cameras send an analog video signal.

:-) yes you're probably right. It's just that I don't have a car at the moment so it's very difficult to go fly. I will probably buy a new car in january or there about, then I will go fly again :-)

Mine is crap. Stops recording sometimes. Only saves 1 out of 10 flights. Video out doesnt work. Overheats. Sometimes it doesnt work at all.. Sometimes it will work again if I let it sit overnight, but not this time. Its totally dead. Red light comes on, but cant record. And since the video out doesnt work, I cant see the menu. Piece of crap.

Ninja Sauce Crap😣 you obviously got a faulty one. Send it back and ask for a new one or a refund if you can... mine still works.

They wont give me refunds anymore. I order so much gear that I get defective stuff once in a while. I got a bad 80 dollar board and they refused to answer my emails. The DVR package was totally destroyed. So I actually record myself opening the packages now.

​@@StigBSivertsen Pretty frustrating when you want to review flight stats at the end and there is nothing :) Happened to me twice in both cases after approx. 43 minutes of recording (on HD).
