consider outfitting the stock bed with modern amenities such as line x, cargo lighting, bed rail covers (diamond plated) with a nice low profile auxiliary fuel tank/tool box combo with headache rack? that's my plan for my 2002 24v drw

In your opinion, would it better to get a gooseneck over a bumper pull? Have a 3500 and looking to upgrade to a new Kubota 97-2 with mulcher.

Depends on your locations and needs. I have both and use both often. Gooseneck rides better

@ Right on. I just did an AirDog II 5G 165 on my 2021 2500 SO and it went pretty smooth. Removing the tank was a bitch without a lift but all in all I could tell an immediate difference in sound and throttle response.

Just to let you now my 2018 3500 Laramie has a built in selector to select either electric or electric over hyd. brakes.
