Great job. Friend of your Dad's and mine, Danny R, used to be your neighbor in N VA, has had 6 ZXs over the years. He is gonna love this. Lessons in perseverence. Two thumbs up.

Thanks a lot, it's really hard to convey on camera just how much effort something like this takes. Having the channel helps keep the motivation up to get things done since we get comments from viewers asking where the next video is.

Restoring a z31 in Aus right now, and man is this a huge motivator. Had my first drive in it today since doing some random stuff, and just is so fun, but will definitely need to look into this exact stuff one day soon.

Really glad to see that this is helping put another Z31 back on the road! All the work done in this video really has helped it make such a more enjoyable drive.

Hey guys, just wanted to say great job on the 300ZX, quite impressed with how well it cleaned up. I've got my own Z32 project and I think you may have motivated me to get it back on the road as well!

Thanks a lot! It really brightens up our day knowing that our content helps motivate others to get their cars up and going. We've been keen on a Z32 for a while but just haven't jumped in yet, and most importantly, the right one hasn't popped up yet.

Really an amazing job! You have enough patience like me to own one of these haha! I just got my first Z this year. First v6 and first turbo car I’ve owned. Love it! I replaced the original timing belt and everything else on the engines front end. Thank you for all the commentary, what a great help. I need to do soft brake lines and wheel bearings next as well. Look forward to your next video🎉

Thanks! It takes a ton of time and patience to work on the cars and then as well to film, edit, and create the videos as well. I'm really glad to see others out there enjoy it and find it helpful!

I was considering a 370z but after watching your video I'm considering a old school Z instead
@Dan_And_Daves_Garage12 күн бұрын
@@cedricmiller4370 I'm sorry to have changed your mind haha. Just whatever you do buy the best one you can afford, it pays off in the long run and do your research.

@Dan_And_Daves_Garage lol no need to apologize I like both of them it's just like how the old ones from the 80s have more unique features like t- tops and pop up headlights as to where the 370z is just faster but no t-tops but either option I choose they will be in mint condition not too picky about price because I like quality and the Z has always been a favorite

Awesome. I'm out here in northern VA actually restoring a couple 86 300zx right now. You ever go to cars and coffee out in Ashburn?
@Dan_And_Daves_GarageАй бұрын
I don't, Ashburn is about 2hrs from me. When is it held? Maybe I'll see if I can swing it.

I actually saw one of these in a junkyard at Chesterfield Auto Parts a month ago. It was completely untouched and it's no longer there. I think the car was crushed but i hope not. Don't really know the company's policies 😢
@Dan_And_Daves_Garage4 ай бұрын
Sad, once a long time ago we saw a pretty nice 87 Turbo that just got processed in and wasn't even in the yard yet. We asked if we could just get the whole thing but from my understanding it is against VA state law for a junkyard to sell a salvage vehicle to a normal person.

i love this. my exhaust just crapped out here too, would you maybe have a link to your new one?
@Dan_And_Daves_Garage26 күн бұрын
I got it off Summit and this is it www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-55135 It's really just a stock replacement and sound is meh and leaves some to be desired. If you need something because your current muffler is rotted then it'll work, but if you wanted something that sounds nice I would look somewhere else.

Interesting, I never knew that. The new replacement rack so far is working with almost 1k miles on it so far.
