Glad you went with Shocks by Hammer, Brian is a great guy and knows his shocks.

After talking on the phone with Brian I knew I had to go through him. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you for the compliment. We learn every day…even after 15 years in the shock business.

Almost every used Raptor with over 50k needs shocks. My gen 2 had 30k and it needed replacement. Don't know why they don't last longer, but they should. I just replaced my Gen 1 with Icon and let me tell you they are expensive but awesome! Night and day. Humming noise could be rear dif bearings too on first gen.

Hey guys just bought a gen2 2019 Raptor and has the live Value shocks on it love them and have now put on 4,100miles since September I got the truck and just now has 68,000mikes ok the truck and I am getting a constant vibration slash noise while crusing on the hwy and u can see the bed of the truck bouncing up and down on a smooth hwy that has recently been re paved over the summer.? I need some help please !! Could it possibly be something with the electronics in the live valve tuning and it also doesn’t matter if I’m in normal sport mode it still acts up it a mild but consistent condition bouncing almost like jiggling short, fast strokes, cruising like at 70 or 80 miles an hour never had a truck that did that even with bad shocks no lights are on the dash either

Just had to have a warranty replacement for my rear shocks at 39k on my gen 2. I was getting really loud clunking over bumps.

How’d you get warranty to cover it?
@huntrussoКүн бұрын
@mrbced21 not sure. Brought it to my local dealer and they covered it

I've been wondering if I should change my 2018 Gen2 blues to the live valves. How are you liking them?
@f1fiftyjimmy2 күн бұрын
I really like the live valves. My gen 1 rides great but you'll hear a lot of people talk how they like their live valves more. For me it's more planted, the corner stability and the overall smoothness is excellent.
@ril850_12 күн бұрын
You’ll need to add SDI eclik to convert non live valves to live valves on a 2018. It can be done though
@shocksbyhammerКүн бұрын
I wouldn’t replace them with LiveValves. Get the stock ones rebuilt and you’ll be amazed.

Is anyone actually changing their shocks at the recommended 50k miles?
@shb96412 күн бұрын
I have 74 thousand on my 2013 raptor, and the shocks seem to be fine so far. I bought the truck 2 years ago with 54 thousand miles

@@shb9641you’d be amazed at the difference in ride with a quality rebuild by a reputable shock company.

I have a 2019 and it is my first Raptor. I bought it about a month ago with 85k miles. Seems fine to me, but I also came from a 2003 F250 7.3L so it is night and day for me lol. I do plan on getting them redone sometime within the next 15k miles.
