For armarouge and ceruledge specifically, I think it makes sense that their armor doesn’t change colour since a shiny charcadet would just be putting on the same armor as any other charcadet to evolve, but I wish they actually changed more about the main body and the colour of the flames

Gholdengo actually does have a shiny, but it's even more minescule than garchomp, which leads many people to think that it straight up doesn't have one, even though it does.

Just as a note: The only thing that the shiny changes is the the gaps in the coins and the yes become SLIGHTLY more silver but not by much.

Bombardier's shiny is subtle but has an important reference. Its normal colors resemble a European white stork while the shiny is an oriental white stork. I really appreciate the details Pokemon puts in its birds so this shiny is actually absolutely perfect for me. I'm surprised you didn't do a black shiny with a red throat for kilowattrel to resemble an actual magnificent frigate bird.

Lokix’s shiny actually does reference another Grasshopper Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Zero-One. But I wished it’s shiny was like a more highlighter yellow than the muck gold that we got

I can kind of agree with that. I mean, yes, shiny Lokix is nice but it could be better as a highlighter shade of yellow to better match Zero-One.

Am... Am I the only one who doesn't see yellow at all??? Not to criticise or say it's wrong, but it looks more military green to me. Or camouflage coloured. Which is why I like this shiny, it's blending in to its surroundings and looks pretty neat.

Unfortunate that it was changed, but the first iteration of Lokix shiny fix (before it was changed into blue) was the best one. As Lokix was specifically referencing Kamen Rider not just Super Sentai in general.

its not weird, just your taste, and thats fine. But in this case, him looking like he was left out in the sun for too long that he lost pigment doesnt fit its theme. Its a carnival pokemon, carnivals are all about bright saturated colors. I think that it wouldve fit better a different color palette that had strong and different colors. Would be easier to love, and also easier to hate, since bold choices make divided opinions because they depend too much on people's tastes, but this case was worth it taking the risk

In my opinion I love the chrome future Pokemon but I feel like they should have had lights that represent the color of the shiny version of what they are based off of (example: Iron Moth with yellow wings)

Yes same!! I completely agree you. I like the chrome shinies, I mean it makes sense. Everything is chrome in the future! I also agree with you on the idea that the lights on the Pokémon should have their original shiny colors like with Iron Moth having yellow wings or Iron Hands having purple hands and skirt

I feel like I'm the only person who likes shiny cyclizar, I really like how it looks like it's made out of some metallic substance like platinum and the blue dots really complete it. I like the redesign but honestly the original is one of my favorites of the generation and I don't get why so many people don't like it.

You're not alone in loving cyclizar's shiny. It was the 2nd shiny I got in Violet, but the 1st I actively hunted for in an outbreak. I saw the design of cyclizar and immediately knew that I wanted to shiny hunt for it. I was so excited that I started hunting for it blind, which could've ended badly given how unimpressive a lot of the gen 9 shinies are. Safe to say that I was not disappointed and shiny cyclizar became one if my favorite shinies ever. The accentuated light blue on a beige body is a great color scheme. Cyclizar's shiny (unlike a lot from this gen) actually stands out and in a good way, so it's unfortunate to see people dislike it and insist on "fixing" it when it's already amazing. Also, everyone seems to want to give cyclizar Koraidon/Miraidon's colors although they don't really look good on it. To me, those colors work for the legendaries, but not cyclizar.

I can’t believe they deliberately chose to make these shinies so bad. Especially with the small Pokémon you wouldn’t see is shiny right away. Looking at you Maushold! Edit: I would have gone with black armor Armorouge and a silver armor Ceruledge. Keeping the red and blue of the non shiny so their names still make sense.

The names would make sense anyway. They were named like that because the average have those colors, they dont become a new species by having a rare mutation, people would still call them like that in the pokemon world because they are the same pokemon

I think Lokix color look pretty good, it a good reference to Kamen Rider (WHICH IS NOT SUPER SENTAI AND POWER RANGERS) Zero-One which have black and ofc yellow and also Lokix normal color scheme could also reference Kamen Rider Black or Black RX or Black Sun, but I like the idea I think I like the black and green with purple eye since it capture the color of Kamen Rider Ichigo to much but the red and green and blue look pretty good Also if you go on Bulbapedia they actually stated that Lokix could also be inspire by Kamen Rider which I think every Tokusatsu know lol

@@jacobwright9351 yea, if we went back to those odds, it would still be easier than back then since pokemon spawn in open world so you can see them without entering grass or battle or anything and respawn them by leaving and going back. But as the odds would be lower, it would still be quite challenging

Lokix, as I'm sure you're probably gonna be told about a hundred times on this video, is a Kamen Rider reference. If you wanna say power rangers it, technically falls into that category, but the inspiration is more often than not greenish. Hence, why the shiny looks as such. If it were a Power Ranger, Nymbole would have to evolve into different forms. Kix is even in the name. Cus Kamen Riders have Kicks as their ultimate attack.

Bruh no Lokix's shiny is already perfect. Its yellow green color is a reference to Kamen Rider 01, who is grasshopper themed. Whereas its normal colors are a reference to Kamen Rider Black. Also you should have kept the 1st fix the same because it looked like Kamen Rider Black RX.

I did a recolor for Baxcalibur weeks ago, where I gave it colors of Arstron from Return of Ultraman where I made the body blue, the wrist spikes, belly & knee plates red (as a reference to Matt Frank’s design of Arstron in the Redman comics) and the head and spine gray. Did another based on Arston’s brother, Ghostron. Where I made the body a brownish gold while the eyes are red. And I did one thats similar to the black shiny you made, but the spine, claws, spike wrist and plates have an icy blue. PS: glad that you went with an orange & yellow shiny for Scovillain.

I actually love unironically the monochrome Bombirdier. One of my favorite shinies of this generation. It's subtle, but it's really cool. The black one is also cool, but I don't like it as much as the real one.

Thanks for the effort and acknowledging the variety issue. While I agree that, the chat is in control and engagement is good for the channel, it's pretty telling of my suspicion that many (if not most) of all Pokemon fans are or were edgelords who would prefer monochromatic shinies all the time, mainly black ones because "Darker Pokemon are elegant, badass and cool, you guys!!" And I know this from experience, back when I started playing I was an edgelord who wanted a black Blaziken or black Dragonite, mainly because of Black Charizard. Until I got my first shiny, a Crobat that one of my friends instantly disliked because his Golbat turned from Dark green to Pale pink with green membranes, I loved the toxic, "pastel-goth" feel of the color combination and instantly traded him a cloned Deoxys I got from my middle school friend. But I also hated Vaporeon for turning pink when shiny, I wanted a white Vaporeon, so yeah, I can relate to the chat sometimes, but I just wish there were some more variety anyway and I understand that's not your fault. Keep these coming!

7:53 it does. You gotta REALLY zoom in though on the lines in the eyes and on the body, which are usually copper but turn gray. They’re so thin that it’s impossible to tell. So yes, gholdengo has a shiny, it’s just the absolute worst right beside the gen four beaver thing

Garganacl, lokix and Quaquaval are three of the shinies I consider the best in this region... I also think the future paradox mons have a great concept and even though Iron threads is a bit underwhelming I prefer to keep them consistent

i re coloured amrarouge and ceruledge’s shiny. ceruledge’s main body being a dark megenta and the fire being a pink fading to a yellow, for armarouge i made the fire blue to cyan and the armour blue, etc (pretty much similar to yours)

The armarouge shiny that got picked is like the exact same shiny that I made other than the flames being slightly different and ceruledge was the exact colors of armarouge
