FIXING JBL FREE - Left ear piece not working (how to)

This video explains how to fix the left ear piece of the JBL Free wireless earbuds not working.
Make sure to disable the bluetooth feature of your smartphone e while attempting this fix!
First turn off both ear pieces, by pressing their buttons for 8 seconds.
Now turn on the left ear piece by pressing it's button for 5 seconds.
Then press the button 3 times quickly. The ear piece should now blink in blue and white.
If this is the case, now turn on the right ear piece by also pressing it's button for 5 seconds and then press the button 3 times.
After a few seconds the two ear pieces should now be connected and you can hear audio on both sides after connecting them to your smartphone.

Man same! My left ear piece’s light doesn’t even come in in the charging case and it has all of a sudden stop working on the past 24 hours. This trick hasn’t worked. Only had them for just over a month

I thought they were broken I returned my first set, had these new ones for over a year now and then last night the left stopped working like the first pair, thats how I found your video looking to see if anyone had this problem got suspicious when it was the same bud as before, now I feel bad for sending the first pair back now that I know they werent actually broken, but at least I dont have to buy a new set now I'm really happy cause they are very nice ear buds

My LED is not blinking blue or white for my left... I think its broken its just showing white...However, for a couple sec when I turn bluetooth on they both connect, but then I lose sound from the left side. If I tap the left side earbud it bakes some sound, but then it completely goes away. No idea what to do

On phone calls or using zoom only the right earbud is enabled. This is normal behavior for this model.

Josh Lynn there isn’t a fix, the battery in it is busted. Mine arrived that way so I was able to return them and get replacements. If you can’t do that you’ll have to open them up and replace the batteries

I sent it to JBL's technical service, and they agreed that it was indeed broken and refunded my money 😞 Since then, I've been using Oppo Enco Air and I haven't had any problems so far. Don't buy JBL earphones, folks.

Try resetting your device (smartphone) after doing this procedure. That worked for me.

Shitty brand, just bought them brand new and was trying for hours just to turn the left one on, it was charged and all, but wouldn´t turn no, letalone get to the pairing stage. Have to go and spend an hour prooving that they´re not working and then maybe ill get new ones. Would not recomend JBL to no one.

On my left JBL it lights up light blue and white all the time, if I hold it down it lights up white for 1 second and then it lights up light blue and white again and again, but on my right JBL it works perfectly :(
