FIXING LEGO’s Hidden Side Lighthouse!

After two months, this is it! I bought two of the LEGO 70431 Hidden Side Lighthouse and combined them into one big lighthouse. In a future video, I will put it in my LEGO city as well. Thanks for watching!

Yes! The first time I saw this I also said to myself, "That looks like half a lighthouse!" It looks much better moc-ed up. I like the cave. It's a great place for all the twins to hang. Thumbs up! Frutz wuz here.

I too got this set on a discount, and I do like it overall. Very unique and fresh idea for a video. I enjoyed it! The re-build you did was fabulous, and fixed many of the issues that the original build had.

Yeah there were a couple odd parts that I wasn't sure how to sort out, I guess I've forgotten some stuff after leaving for nearly two months lol. Also I sorta tried a different style which I think is what caused the weird spots to begin with

I don’t have any instructions sorry, my best advice would be to just make a similar build on your own because I used a lot of pieces from outside the two sets. If you have questions during the process then I’m happy to help but I don’t have instructions unfortunately:/

I appreciate the way you did this MOC/MOD and I really compliment the way you did this modification. But I have to ping you on a BIG miss you had. Seriously dude? You don't mention that this is a HIDDEN SIDE set until @3:43 and then you diss the app? Dude, I became a fan of Lego through Hidden Side and started building because of the potential for the MOC/MOD this series presented. The fact that you haven't played the Game means that you missed on the opportunity to build the actual game Map which is built around a completed Lighthouse. So Positive remarks on your building skills, but major negative that you diss the series and the app. I mean they even reference the claws in the animation finale of the season 1 of Hidden Side because the Kaiju size ghost. I'm sorry but you really shouldn't be dissing a series that many love and are going to miss.

Oh my goodness I’m sorry I took so long to respond, but I did read your comment and I think you have a good point. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have blown it off so hard without dedicating it proper research or thought. As for your other point, I did say that it was a hidden side set in the very first sentence of the video, and I showed the box art, although I know I didn’t place a lot of emphasis on it. I guess because I intended to just use it as a lighthouse and not specifically a hidden side set, I glossed over the fact that there is a whole fanbase around the theme. For that I apologize. TL;DR Thank you for the compliments on the build, and for the constructive criticism on the video. It is much appreciated and I will think more before I speak in the future! 😄
