You are right!The writers were not aware of each other's work... The Production of Tell Your Tale, and Make your Mark was simultaneous, They only shared some story lines and assets, but not whole scripts or details.

I don’t think something like this will happen _within_ the show, as in you’re able to officially see it played out by animators and officials. it’s just a head canon hobby of mine, thinking of scenarios that happen within this universe off screen, y’know? so I wouldn’t think hasbro themselves would pick this up. (honestly, that would be a dream come true-) I still do appreciate the support overall. 💚

​@@dreezeghI just want to let you know that if the main problem is that the Tell Your Tale timeline doesn't fit with the Make Your Mark timeline during its release, this is my explanation : The Equestria Daily article on the G5 episode guide actually moves the Tell Your Tale episode around to fit the Make Your Mark timeline. It's weird; the way I see it, Tell Your Tale had a lot of freedom for a 5-minute episode, and the writer seems to be able to just write an episode without caring where it occurred in the "Make Your Mark timeline."

In terms of the opening Tell Your Tale was created as a middle ground if you don't have Netflix as the G5 movie is available outside Netflix,But the two reasons it was made was cause what if MYM failed or in its case Netflix taking much longer and messing up plans the other reason is G4 is so hard to send to streaming services so TYT will be easier to send to streaming services like Pluto TV.
