I will admit that long before Wave 2's courses were revealed, DS Waluigi Pinball was one of the last courses I expected because of it sharing the same music with DS Wario Stadium. Mario Kart 8 was THE Mario Kart game where no two racecourses share the same soundtrack. As sad as how reality turned out to be, I still welcome DS Waluigi Pinball. Besides Tour, Nintendo finally properly brought it back in a game where its owner is a playable character.

Hot Take: I think Toad Circuit is a good track not because it's a fun track to play on but because it acts as a first track type thing in any game. It's meant to be the first track in 3DS and I think getting a track that's meant to be a tutorial is a fine enough opinion. I mean if we got Figure 8 Circuit I would NOT agree (unless they somehow made it good) but still Toad's Circuit being here is okay for me (Still would have been nice to get something like Shy Guy Bazar, Toad's Factory or Airship Fortress though)

I'd replace the snes Mario Circuit 3 with an rmx Mario Circuit, it's at least unique to Mario Kart DS, Wii and 7 and it would be a way to add even more Tour exclusive tracks while still representing the SNES

An easy fix that nobody talks about is to add some kart parts. Most of not all the tracks feel very bland or incomplete without the signature kart parts that were introduced alongside them in Tour.

Yeah... no. I agree that the BCP had strange selections and some bad ordering. ...But this is not it, lol. This is just straight up worse overall in almost all aspects in which something was changed. Cheep Cheep Island was a terrible remake. WHY WOULD YOU PICK THAT WHEN BOWSER CASTLE 4 OR LAKESIDE PARK IS RIGHT THERE? Mario Circuit 3 is bad... so replace it with another boring SNES circuit? The one that already appeared in Mario Kart 7? What's that supposed to solve? Also, DS Mario Circuit is fine. We do not need 3DS Mario Circuit. Really? GBA Luigi Circuit? That course has nothing unique about it going on aside from the background. Again, Bowser's Castle 4 and Lakeside park are right there man This selection makes me more grateful for the official selections, lol. 😭
