Another fab idea. I love the one you did in a tutorial when you didn't have enough chains in a starting row; you just popped a few more in.

Before I watched the video, my suggestion would be to do a standing double crochet with tucking in the loose end 😉. So, after I watched the video, I normally do it on the first DC. Next time I will try it as the last one as you do here. It's the same concept though 😁

Could you tell me how to remove a dc in a flat granny blanket, I crocheted 4 instead of 3. Thank you
@CrochetwithClare5 ай бұрын
Hello, sorry for the slow reply, life got busy. I am not sure as I have never tried this before, you could try cutting the stitch and then taking it out and then tying your yarn back together. Then sew the ends in.
@Nashmum3 жыл бұрын
Great tip. But what do you do it you find four stitches in a chain instead of three?
@CrochetwithClare3 жыл бұрын
I guess you can try and undo the 4th stich and then tie it together and sew in the ends

I was supposed to do 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in my granny square corners. I forgot a set of 3 dc in one corner. Will this trick help this? Thank you ❤
@CrochetwithClare5 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. Yes, it will, but your corner may be tight. I would try this..cut the yarn on the 2nd stitch you already have on your corner. CAREFULLY undo the remaining 3 stitches, then redo the corner, joining yarn as needed, then when you have the corner stitches done, slip stitch to the next stitch and sew in ends. In my head, that will work 🤔
