What a fantastic interview guys, from everyone involved. When you are just a motorsport follower and make derogatory comments about the sport without knowing the goings on from behind the scenes, its moments like these that give a better perspective of the workings and understandings of the industry. As the new CEO, Sunil Vohra gave an accountable clear answer to each question asked at every level that made me feel that my criticism in the past, even though it was justified in my mind was really without the proper knowledge at that time. Thankyou to him and both interviewees for this video and I feel comfortable that the sport is in great hands.

Winton and Calder could be developed with new facilities accessible from Freeway access multi purpose... Create more affordable class from Marc Cars for young drivers cheaper to run than Super 2 could add to Super Series... ARG looking for promoter of TCR and Trans Am would suit these tracks with updates and more use...

Great interview team, but I’m sorry but is this just a complete joke?! This effectively sounds like Motorsport Australia saying, “Look we’re hopeless at being involved in the promotion of motor sporting events in Australia, and frankly they’re just way too expensive as we saw last year. In fact, we’re so bad at that, and have such little faith in the events being profitable, that we’re not going to invest in the events, but will instead just get other people to take on the financial risk, and maintain a small financial interest so as to justify our bureaucratic presence and get a bit of the profit should that, frankly miraculous outcome, actually occur.” I’m surprised that at the end of the interview you didn’t just fully clarify “so what is it you actually now do?” So the badge on the left side of his shirt is organisation that doesn’t want to invest in the promotion of the sport, and the badge on the right (despite having a shed load of money from F1), doesn’t want to stump up the funds? Awesome👍👌

Corporate racing is boring and kills grass roots racing.. Motorsport Australia has outsourced its responsibilities in organizing effective race series. Bring back the Australian Touring Car championship,The Australian Sports Car championship and AN1.
