Man i remember the old days where the tigris prime was the number 1 most overpowered thing in the entire game. Even the regular tigris was ridiculously strong

When Nekros Prime was released Tigris Prime was better than any shotgun or even... Sniper. You could kill from 50 meters almost any enemy (there was no falloff) It was soo OP

Genuinely hate the existence of incarnon weapons because they completely overshadow good weapons like Tigris Prime due to being insanely busted with barely any investment. Incarnons and Rivens were made with the purpose is making old weapons relevant again but all it did was create a balancing nightmare.

@@maotsuru8613 They brought rivens into the game with the expressed purpose of boosting older weapons, it backfired, got nerfs, now new rivens start with a 1/5 dispo making the whole system pointless. Making new systems like rivens and incarnons when all they needed to do was buff older weapons directly...wild

So i hate Rivens, but really like incarnons, but even without them, the tigris would still be overshadowed, there are so many weapons that AOE nuke, and the Tigris does not nuke, its a product of its time, and doesnt really work in todays meta sadly

@derelictdragon2550 Only reason why AoE is popping off today because DE thought it'd be a wonderful idea to remove self damage even though the solution was simply to not shoot at your own feet. Now AoE nuking is everywhere (even on newer Warframes) and it's a large part of the reason why CC Warframes are borderline dead. One small change caused a dominoe chain leading to a balancing nightmare. Also, "Meta" in Warframe doesn't exist when a vast majority of weapons and Warframes are capable of clearing rooms when built right. Wouldn't let content creators convince me otherwise.

Love this series. I miss build roasts though maybe do it biweekly instead of weekly? Can't wait to see weapons like the Quatz pulled out.

why shredder? Physical dmg mods only increase the raw damage (not slash status) and increase weighting towards an element for status applications. Sweeping serration already moves the needle from 80% slash to 90-ish% slash. I understand not wanting to run a bane mod since you mentioned in the video (although it's specially powerful in a build that doesn't have many other options mods to fill the slot, like crit or elemental mods). But even then, magazine capacity, reload speed or punch trough would be better options than shredder.

@@matiasmiraballes9240 just higher chance to do slash. Something like vigilante armaments is also good or bane mod as you mentioned. This is what I did and the damage is still more than decent. My forma is also not the greatest for this type of build just because of my garuda tigris build

One of my favorite shotguns to use, I am trying to get two different rivens for status and crit based builds and even have sancti tigris take one of them.

I remember WAYYYY back in the good old days when Tigris Prime was the gold tier meta weapon! Those were the days! These whipper snappers don't even remember what a duplex trigger even is! Additionally, is soma not considered mr fodder because of the incarnon? I want to see its full potential.

GET CLEM This series needs to continue, it gives me McGamerCZ vibes, but for level cap lol Edit: I have my exergis with an exergis riven and it also hits pretty hard, but I mainly use it with mag, to shoot at the bubbles, it's literal hell inside those bubbles lol

If an enemy has 100k health and you did 1 million damage, you still did 100k damage. If you love the Tigris Prime then use it because nothing really matters and meta in Warframe doesn't exist.

@@BobaSoda_ Well you defenetly can use Tigris, but i disagree abot meta doesn't exist. Simple exaple: if you take popular AOE weapon (like bramma or ogris) to hight amount of mob clearing mission (like deffence or something) you'ld probably be done much faster then shooting those guys one by one with tigris, so you'll get your rewards faster, so you'll have more rewards in time, so you'll have advance above tigris users. You (or any stranger) may can think about tigris being solo-target specialist and inacuracy of previous example, but then the fact of better solo-target specilized weapon existence comes in and in this situation takes about overkilling wouldn't work this well.

@@WakeSToastmaster Anyone who can see past themselves will notice that completing a mission faster does not give you an advantage whatsoever, we all get the same amount of rewards. For example, Defense missions. If you do 20 waves in 5 minutes and I do 20 waves in 10 minutes we still get the same amount of rewards. Why? Because 20 waves is still 20 waves no matter fast you are. Meta in Warframe is a lie perpetuated by content creators because they wouldn't have anything else to talk about otherwise.

Recently I saw a video someone made about the quellor I think it was and said that weapon was the strongest in the game. I haven't watched it because I don't have the weapon full built yet but I might try it out.

If we had a galvanized projectile speed mod like shotguns do it would definitely be up there for the best weapons in the game. Sadly the projectile speed mod for primaries doesn't boost its alt fire range a lot and you are still very limited on when u can use it because of that reason. Damage wise its just nuts

Its insanely good but just use whatever one you like the most. I prefer the quellor over Stahlta but it does have less aoe compared to it despite the punch through

I've had a god roll riven for the tigris since shotgun rivens released i think it was literally my first shotgun riven maybe my second... might have been the kohm those were my first 2 though for sure. I've been saying this thing is rediculius for years...
