Is it a Leica M6 like every other KZbinr? 🤣 This isn’t meant to be backhanded, just jealous if so. All love. Love the channel, glad I landed here today after watching your Nikon F5 video! Can’t wait to see what’s to come! Grabbed a really sweet deal on a Minolta X-700 and some decent lenses and the Minolta 360px auto flash which is a BEAST. But once I’m comfortable on analog again I’m springing for an F5!!

You will ha e to wait an see, but it's not a M6 haha. The Nikon F5 is truly an amazing camera, it's builtike a tank and you can use it as a manual or auto machine!! The Minolta X-700 is also a brilliant camera!!

I’ve been using a changing bag for years for developing my films and no problems at all. To avoid fishing for the film leader or opening the cassette, I leave a bit of film leader when I rewind the film. You should be able to set the F5 to do that in the menu. I’d be interested to see what you use as reusable film cassette? I tried cheap plastic ones and found they didn’t last long before leaking. I’ve defaulted to the old Leica metal reloadable cassettes

Thanks Nick, I was thinking the plastic ones, but I might always old metal cassettes from my local lab - family that the reusable Leica ones - are they tricky to use? Interesting about the F5 and the leader, I didn't know that but will look into it!

@@SebastianOakley No harm in trying, I’ve never had a lot of luck with reusing commercial cassettes but you may find them ok. The Leica cassettes are pretty easy to use, I got mine from Ebay. Nikon also used to make them for the F and F2, probably others did too. Buy one and see, they are very robust. The trouble I had with cheap plastic ones was the felt seal sometimes fell off and the end caps started getting loose. That as a few years ago, maybe there are better quality ones now, worth researching maybe. Did you get my email a month or so ago?
