I suggest trying putting the 2nd node next to your PC and connect your PC to the node with Ethernet. The connection between the 2nd node and the first is gonna be stronger than your PC having to go through 2 wireless hops to get to the router

Absolutely. I have my PC plugged into my secondary TP link mesh unit, via ethernet, and get almost the full 1.5Gbps, even if I'm streaming something at the same time. I would also ditch the 6E router altogether, and use the 1st mesh unit as the router. It's just adding unnecessary hardware, that can reduce the signal.

Just curious does your home not have Ethernet outlets in the walls throughout your home? I’ve seen plenty of houses and apartments with those hardwired in to avoided running wires.

Would the speeds have been better if you connected the secondary node directly to the gaming setup?

Wifi has definitely come a long way and still gets a lot of outdated hate. Of course your never going to beat being wired in but hey all about compatibility and accessibility in technology!

I have ethernet but still bad performance what should I do?

I mean it depends on your internet package I guess xD

Ethernet is not a speed metric of your internet but an actual standard.... Kind of like USB ,HDMI, DP, USB-C . Your speed can depend on different things like how many smart devices you have in your home or like in this video how far the main router is from the device your using. Other factors can be what the walls in your home are made out of because some materials can absorb or stop Wi-Fi signals all together. If you have an old router for example one that's over 6 years old that could be part of the problem the newest standard 802.11BE or Wi-Fi 7 can handle a lot more devices and give speeds up to 10Gbps or more depending on your router and service provider.

To be honest you guys shouldn't be running a Wi-Fi setup like that . Because you are KZbinrs and you deal with a lot of large files I would suggest going with a small network rack from UniFi . The UniFi Pro 24 PoE with Etherlighting would be good for your workflow .
