@@EdgeMediaNWA to be honest, I have no experience with framer, I don’t know of any enterprise level websites built with this tool. BUT assuming that the creators of the tool are reasonable people with good intentions, you should be able to export the pages. With that in mind, I would design a landing page template, export that page, find an environment, where I could duplicate and edit those pages in bulk. It sounds like a messy ordeal if you ask me. You are probably better off going through a manual process for this.

Ahrefs shows that your organic traffic went down crazily after Sep 2024. Is that right?
@tannerdritschlerКүн бұрын
2024, not 2025, and yes that's due to the issue I mentioned in the video, and why I removed over 4k+ landing pages and instead went with 100. My entire site broke and GSC notified me of the issue a little late. No SEO should bank on any substantial traffic coming from {city name} SEO Company though. While it's very targeted, quality traffic, the total traffic volume from these keywords is extremely low. That's what blogs are for :)
@RankRightКүн бұрын
@@tannerdritschler Ok. Aren't you creating {city name} SEO company pages in this this video? I don't see blog pages ranking for such queries.
@tannerdritschlerКүн бұрын
Correct, you wouldn't make blog posts for these types of pages. Landing pages are for "Commercial" (and sometimes "Transactional") keywords. Blog posts are for "Informational" (and sometimes "Transactional") keywords. But that's a whole separate video! In this video I'm strictly focusing on "Commercial" keywords for these landing pages. :)

What's the traffic look like on these pages now? It's been 90 days - worth the effort or a waste of time?
@tannerdritschler2 күн бұрын
@@mspleadgeneration we have a handful ranking on the first page now and a few on ranking number one (central Texas SEO, Bedford SEO, etc). ☝️ pretty remarkable considering how fast I put these together. The traffic on these types of pages has notoriously been pretty low, in fact, I would argue. The majority of the traffic is coming from other SEOs, but it has always been this way, and a lot of people in the industry don’t always talk about that! However, when that one person does search, we are there, and they schedule a call with the people ranking on the first page, that’s when we close them. So far I’ve only closed one client from these new landing pages. Worth about 9k a year so definitely worth it.

@@KeyserTheRedBeard well do what we can to support the pages. It should work, but if all else fails we’ll have to find a new strategy. From my experience it’s almost always just a content issue that holds back rankings.

When you say your website broke do you mean from too much traffic? And how will doing this again fix your SERPs even at a dmaller scale?
@tannerdritschler2 ай бұрын
@@AkashGolf great questions, both our theme and hosting solutions couldn’t handle the actual amount of website content, the traffic was still manageable and scalable. Our site was taking too long to render the pages and the user would have to reload the page to populate it - no matter which page they clicked to, including our homepage. The pages still ranked super fast which was great - once Google saw they weren’t loading they were quickly removed from the SERPs. So we’ve redesigned the site to be less heavy, and are implementing the same strategy on a smaller scale more local to our location since we know it works.
@JulienGray4 күн бұрын
So I feel like these kinds of City based landing pages work, if the services are actually offered locally. We noticed some of the projects we took over that massive traffic drops were visible exactly when Google did Core search updates, especially spam or content quality. For example having local city pages for a company that physically offers services in that area makes sense. But having a page for every city offering your Webdesign, Writing or SEO services, especially if you are not local, I imagine is something Google would consider low quality search result, possibly "spam". Because the search intent was to find something local - which you are not. It may work for a short while, but I would be careful with it.
@tannerdritschler4 күн бұрын
@@JulienGray I agree with you here on offering physical, in-person, services. But when it comes to digital services, in my experience at least, it’s pretty attainable to rank throughout a region or state. I haven’t seen this really impacted by any Google update so long as the content itself is unique and well put together on each page. BUT, to your point here, there’s a number of other SEO factors that I did not discuss in this video because they’re considered basic strategy. For example, a local company will probably rank higher than my page if it’s getting more direct traffic locally and ranking for other local keywords related to whatever city or region you’re trying to rank for. I should probably make a video on the SEO basics for this! Not to mention all the other factors like where your office is located, if you even have an office, multi-office, online activity, social presence, etc.
@tannerdritschler4 күн бұрын
@@JulienGray to your point though, the pages I made actually ranked, the problem was that our website itself broke! After the website broke, then we lost the rankings :( honestly I was really surprised at how I was able to rank. I wish I could’ve watched them rank for a year + backlinks to see what happened with those. We’ll get back there someday. :)

@@DanielNeubauer not a proof to show you right now but my XP and many cases I encounter with my own website I advise to not set the same exact H1 / Title / slug url it can be a killer signal for your ranking. Let's me explain ... Google use Title as a primary key to understand your content and try to match it with the rest of your content. So 10 years ago maybe it was not a big deal but not anymore... Just make a try yourself you will see a real gap after a while... If I'm not wrong Backlinko (Brian Dean) made a blog post about it few years ago... hope it helps ;)

This is a good idea, but just changing the city and keeping most other content on those 200 pages is not that great. Duplicate content. It would be better to have ai create new snippets for all of those content blocks.

@ I have a few sections on each page that are unique thanks to AI. The premium version of LPagery would allow for a more seamless implementation of this. However, I'm not paying for LPagery for my own site, because this isn't a strategy I would implement on a client site until it's been proven to work for at least 2 years. It's an interesting topic though. We totally agree on the most important thing (as would most SEO's), the best content ranks first! I'll never claim these pages to be the best, but this is a fast, almost free, and easy way to create lots of pages. It's hard to beat this as a starting point if you have a 'general' page format you'd like to start from.
