It really is surprising how much work, time, energy goes in to restoring original parts. Having a look at the process, being done correctly, makes it easier to justify the prices. Which is actually pretty damn reasonable considering all that's going on behind the scenes.

I like that shifter it had better. when it comes to driving the truck. I never trusted column shifters in any of my trucks when shifting gears when going up a steep hills or scenarios where you need to down shift. When shifting back to regular driving gear I always fear messing up and shifting to reverse.

Column shifters are only good for automatic transmissions.

Hey Stacey, I’ve got a 74 powerwagon , 360, auto, 4x4, short bed, halfway complete, runs. Also a 75 powerwagon, standard, 318, 4x4, which was retrofitted for an ambulance, runs. Also throwing in a 4bt core still in the frame of a potato chip truck. Need to sell, and would make great projects for the show. Located in south Louisiana. Interested?

To whomever is in charge of uploading the old TV show videos to youtube: For Premium KZbin members, there are no commercials or adds. Thus, the logo video section for before and after commercials on TV, are unneeded and a waste for KZbin. We already know what we are watching, so constant interuptions with the show logo video is pointless and distracting. It is also very long. As is the extra long intro, this one is over 5 minutes long. Not needed. Recaps after no commerials, also waste time. Why does all this matter? Well your new KZbin and streaming Online audiance is different than old Commercial dominated and controlled TV. Most regular KZbin subscribers pay the monthly fee to not have to watch those anoying commercials or ads. Similar with other streaming services. We are also use to videos that are shorter and to the point. No poinltess recarps, because we never left or had a commercial break to forget what you said or had done thus far. Even worse are shows that show previews before and recaps after (former) commercials breaks to allow for less quality content. (We are talking to you Discovery Channel. Lol!) Most people have an attention span long enough to remember the previous content of a 15 to 20 minute KZbin video. My point to all this, is editing and downsizing these former TV content to appeal to KZbinr's would be wise and appreciated. Doing so could allow for a more concise and informative edited video. It also save us viewers having to keep fast fowarding thru the unneeded parts I have mentioned. Or worse yet, simply clicking on someone elses video instead? It is a new time for how we watch our favorite videos and TV shows. The old commercial TV formats don't work well for streaming. Thus, editing for quality and content, with simple mentions of sponsors is fine. No long TV show intros, no recaps or previews needed or wanted. It might even make more sense, once the extra pointless bits are editeed out, to combine 2 or more videos into one. Especially, if like this one, there is only anout 10 minutes of actual original content. I and most KZbinrs, don't want to waste our time on longer videos that are mostly filler vs. relevent and quality content we clicked to see. I enjoy the main content, wgen you get to it, I am a long time huge fan of Stacey David since his days on Trucks. I hope this constructive suggestions will be taken seriously and appreciated. Thanks.

I'm waiting for the day when someone grows a brain and makes a tuning app for a phone to go with an obd2 to otg usb cable or bluetooth dongle so you can run a car off your cell phone. It'd also make it harder to steal a car if they implement some kind of key system so you can't start the car unless the correct app/phone is connected.
