Fixing Pokemon X and Y

Diving into the Kalos region games and stating the worst things about the games and how I'd fix them!
I do think these games need serious improvements, but I also don't think they are terrible so please don't take offence if these games are your favourite.

Honestly I think it would have already been so much better if the Kalos starters got megas instead of the Kanto ones. I don't think it's really the amount of rivals that's the problem tho, I think it's the fact that Serena/Callum takes up 75% of the rival encounters. Like you only fight Tierno twice, Shauna maybe 3 and Trevor twice. Meanwhile, Serena/Callum has like 7 fights. Also their teams are just... nothingness. Like what does Corphish or Crawdaunt have to do with Tierno's dancing Gimmick? I feel a better team would have been Ludicolo, Spinda and Hitmontop. Trevor is all about the Pokédex, so I imagine he just rotates random Pokémon. Like every time you encounter him he has 3 or 4 rare Pokémon from the past couple routes you may have missed, so you can look on your map to find out where to get them. I don't really know about Shauna. I thinka a cute but deadly type of pokémon would suit her. Like Sylveon or Ninetales. I also feel the game has some areas that clearly where meant to have something, but they didn't finish them. Like that random train station, the ghost girl, etc. And finally, my main problem is that Wooper is too late in the game for me to use. Literally unplayable.

I do really like the idea of the Kalos starters having megas since this is such a key gimmick. Thanks for commenting!

Mega for the gym and elite four. Rivals all have more pokemon in their teams. Dance guy has dancing mons. Shauna pretty mons. Orange head whatever he was. Make then all better rivals to challenge along the way.

@AlphaOrange99 no problem. I just feel x and y had so much potential they could have used if not for over tuning the game with how megas can be pretty broken.
