Very interesting and thank you for sharing. I have the mono digital microscope, viewing on a screen and I am used to it. Perhaps one day I will buy a trinocular microsope.

I had a digital one for a while. Used to tell myself it was good enough and that I preferred looking at a monitor anyway, but I have no shame in admitting how wrong I was. Being able to see the depth in what your looking at with a stereoscope and how clear things are makes a huge difference. The stereoscope is pretty much like your real vision magnified while the digital one is exactly how you see it in these video's. My biggest complaint about switching to the stereoscope is that it has spoiled me so much that I hate to look at anything with out it when working. When I used the digital one, usually I didn't bother setting it up unless I was recording.
