Thank you for your video. I bought the race tech kit for my 82 nighthawk but havent yet installed it but i felt stupid for spending so much once i saw the progressive kit for like a third of the price but i new race tech was going to be the way to go in the end.

I thought the same thing at first and even bought and installed the Progressive springs. Not even 500 miles later I realised my error and they came back out.

Was your fork oil ok with stock springs? 🤔 i have a 1991 Nighthawk & it is very smooth far as i known my fork springs are stock ..

I ran them with stock oil and also thicker (which just made them harsher over higher speed bumps). 90/00s Nighthawks are quite different bikes than the 80s.
