Hopefully you got the Hay Squeeze all squared away. Your new puppy, Josie, is a cutie. There is nothing better than a good dog, besides more good dogs. I really appreciate your attention to detail when troubleshooting. There are too many mechanics out there that just throw parts at it until it is fixed, definitely not your way. Warren, absolutely fantastic! Sure is a huge difference in the apparent flow. WONDERFUL RESULT after the wait to start! Looking forward to seeing more with your new puppy. In a few minutes, I'm going to sort out a little emergency, a good friend had the air system dump after shutting down his Prevost. He was about to make a drive out to Lake Havasu. 8v92TA. I am glad he made the drive and left the bus at home, we're going to sort things out. He thought it might be the governor. I told him, the governor can totally fail, but the air system should maintain pressure. Problem is downstream. He took my advice and hooked his shop air to the emergency port. Hisssssssss. Going to check a few suspension solenoids tonight. Glad it didn't fail in the middle of a drive from Central California to Arizona. Yes, if he was stuck, I'd have taken some time off for a road trip!

Hopefully it is cured. Lucky you noticed it weeping. Air leaks can be a real bear to track down. Craziest one I ever had was somebody had botched an injector install and combustion pressure was leaking into the fuel return. After a half hour of running it would pressurize the fuel tank to the point it would overcome the fuel return and kill the engine. If it sat for a bit pressure would bleed off and it would fire right back up. Took several hours to find the problem.

I just did one of them gear pumps too two weeks ago. It was on a garbage truck that died on them and the hooker dropped it off at our shop and there was barely a dribble coming out of that pump. Put a reman one on and it fired right up.

BuMW diesels have a very similar looking pump that is total mare to change special tools galore and they leak into the sump cause huge problems

Didn't you have one of those hay squeeze machines with a 4 cylinder (maybe Paccar)? seems like it had balance shafts in it. Seems like as much cost to put balance shafts in is as much as two additional cylinders.
