Had same problem squeaks on the rear i bought a quick release rear hard wear from forbidden usa it works great since it pushed the top lower and more seals more on the rear when you lock it... plus its easier to remove the top since you dont got to unbolt anything.. down side its its pretty pricy but it worked great for me...

Dope video Subbed I have a Forbidden Mugen Rep and I ended up added a second seal on the body of the car which reduced the creaking noise and sealed better. I still have wind leaks by the window seal where it meets the door as well. Was looking into just installing oem window seals to eliminate it altogether. But dope video looking forward to the video on how to adjust the window regulator. I also have that same problem. I ended up just pushing the top of the window slightly to allow it to go under the hard top when closing from the outside and when closing it from the inside I just roll the window down ever so slightly. Sketchy but not confident enough to adjust my own window regulator lol. Hope to see some updates and maybe a process on how to adjust the regulator.

Silicone grease will do the trick for any squeak noise it also keeps seals from getting dry and break as they are kinda cheap

I’ll give that a try👍🏼

Did you ever figure out the squeaky issue? If so what was the solution?
@TonySanchez5 жыл бұрын
After rearranging the weather seals, the squeaking reduced by a lot. The issue that I’m having now is the weather seals are not thick enough on the windows so there is a tiny gap where air is getting in and sometimes drops of water

@@TonySanchez If you are talking about the corner of the driver side door or passenger. I shove some small objects that will change that corner piece to bulge instead of making it kind flat.

Yeah bro you have to soak those damn seals in Shin-Etzu grease. I rub down every rubber seal on my car and it 100% will eliminate all squeaks. Space your front latch strikers down with washers and move to solid front latches. It pulls down so tight it wont leak air and the grease wont let it squeak. ALWAYS use nickle antisieze in every threaded connection that goes INTO the hard top. this will help you prevent damage to the top.

Thanks for the recommendation! The issue that I’m having right now is they don’t fit properly on the windows. There is a small gap and sometimes drops of water get in when it’s raining

Bro 50/50 rule, if it looks good from 50ft away going 50mph it’s all good...but why lie if it was my car I would want to get it fixed as well

Lmao I know what you mean😄 I typically listen to music through my headphones in the car and yesterday was the first day I didn’t use headphones and I heard all of the squeaks 😅

Just chew some large bubble gum and that under the window seal . It will harden after awhile.
