Fixing the barn floor

Helped my dad and uncle rebuild a floor like this. Dropped the hammer so many times we bought 2 more so we didn't have to fetch it each time. There was beer involved with dad and uncle.

Congratulations on your barn.....wow! She's a beaut! So glad to see someone appreciate it! So many people now tear them down so "fancy " people can put the wood in there houses as a show piece! To build a barn like that now would cost so much those fancy people couldn't even afford it!!! Keep up all the good work...Go bucks!

She IS a beaut! It's going to take a lot of work to get it back to mostly weather tight but I think it will be worth it. I would hate to have to pay for a new one like it. Thanks for watching! O-H!

Great old barn. I noticed the roof line was still straight. Worthy of a Bob style repair. On a side note,,,enjoyed the bird on a wire to get some of the old flooring off.

I’ve always wanted a Bank barn and this barn is worth saving. Spend a little money now and will last another hundred years. You cannot say that for the new pole barns.
