I had a similar issue when I retro fitted some leather seats into my E90. You’ve got the right idea, follow the wires and depin as best as you can. I ended up having a temperamental issue with the electric reclining after even though the wires matched up in the end. Couldn’t put my finger on it. One minute it works one minute it didn’t. Best of luck with yours

Had a '21 Kyalami Green 8Y with matching interior in the US... moved to the UK unexpectedly in 2022 as I took a job position in my company that I was offered... so I bought a UK spec Kyalami Green RSQ3 Sportback. Audi UK broke my heart when they told me Kyalami matching interior wasn't an option for the RSQ3 which led me to choose red. Even though the exterior/interior of my car is Christmas colors I still prefer it rather than plain black leather. I'm moving back home to the US in 2025 and now I have to sell this RSQ3 soon. Hoping to score an allocation for the 8.5Y RS3 in Kyalami green again. I'm so obsessed with this color that I'm gonna keep buying RS cars with it until Audi drops the color altogether.

Did it on mine as well, but got genuine RS3 8Y seats, front and rear in red stitch with accents, plus seat belts, side panels, flat bottom wheel in red stitch, vents, the lot. No idea why Audi UK thought we wouldn't option the RS interior pack. Sourced the entire pack from Poland. Makes a massive difference to the interior.

Quick question: how does mounting wheel spacers of different sizes (12mm fronts and 15mm rears) impact the TC, 4WD and overall the drive train of the car? Intuitively I would say that when mounting spacers of different sizes, there has to be a slip somewhere in the system that shall accommodate the extra 3mm difference between spacers while taking curves. Also, how does the TC handle it and what impact does the upgrade have on it? I'm looking forward to doing the same on my Formentor VZ5 (same car basically, different chassis) and was trying to be 100% sure such a setup wouldn't result in premature wear or damage in time. Thanks in advance for your answer.
