Have you tried heating it up again after cutting it? That night help the edge become more flush.

Yah about a day after posting this video i tried to do just that! It helped a tad, but it will never be perfect and I'm okay with that! I'm happy to report though that the grip has held up well on it!

Nice. This would work well on the LTT screwdriver.

Great idea! I haven't got my hands on it yet! So definitely proceed at your own risk as you could melt the plastic. But if they used a good heat resistant plastic, which with the amount of R&D they put into their screwdriver, they likely have, this mod could likely work real well! @LinusTechTips you should send me one of your screwdrivers for review! haha

i would've recommended getting some grip tape instead that they use on firearms and gaming mice. The grip tape would've allowed you to add some height and give you some really nice grip on just the front of it but keep the rest of the handle nice and soft.

I considered grip tape, but at this point i've used this on a lot of my tools and like how it feels. So far this has been holding up well and suits my needs. But i think grip tape on the shaft of a screwdriver could be a cool idea.

Thanks for checking in! It is definitely a pause! I'm just swamped with things right now! I have a ton for this channel I will eventually get to!
