In this video, I'll be showing you how I "fixed" the Mines of Mandalore version of Din Djarin. I used a Credit Collection jetpack that I had to paint and modify, and I just made a very simple cape. Seems like you may have said something about ringworm... My brain always wants to say Ringworm instead of Ringworld. But yeah, easy modification. My Droideka shipped and will be here next week - still waiting on the long forehead Jedi. Have a great weekend as well and thanks for watching!

Hey Matt, thank you for the review. Just to let you know Mando can hold the knife. If you put the hilt nearer to his fingertips and turn it until it lodges itself. I realised this while examining the Hasbro promo images of him holding the knife. Cheers mate!

Yeah, it's a little tighter that way - but it just looks weird. A swappable knife-holding hand would have been perfect. I appreciate you checking out the video!

You can get the jet pack and plastic cape on Mando, as I've had both on together on the original single release Beskar since about 2020. Doesn't look brilliant from the side, but it can be done and it's never particularly bothered me looking at him on a shelf. Definitely show us the Boba. Love these cuz-thom videos!

Yeah, they do both fit. I do like the look of the cape draped around the jetpack. However, the detail on the plastic cape is hard to beat. I could certainly put together a quick show-and-tell video for Boba. I appreciate you watching as always, David!

@@Matt_Bryant Pros and cons! I do like "a soft good" but some of them are hideous!! I only recently got Glo Moon and that is the most ridiculous hood I ever did see!! 😃 😀 😄

Nice job Matt! Easy mod on a fig that’s readily available. The glavis mando is hard to find at retail cost. Let’s see custom Boba 👍🏻. Shelves look great 👍🏻

Thanks, Brian. It's crazy how Glavis shot up in price so quickly. I'll try and whip up a video for Boba - I wish we didn't have to modify figures to make them screen accurate, but in a way, it's fun to do. Thanks for checking out the video!

Great vid Matt. I almost skipped it as I'd seen you Glavis Mando vid and thought, well all they did was stick the plastic cape with this one. Then you went and tickled it up with a new cape and jet pack. Very nice.👍 I'd probably only get yhis version if it was on sale. It could make for great custom fodder. Re: the colour of his cape, I figure Mando (and Boba) don't just wear the same colour all the time. Unless they're like Steve Jobs.🤔😀

Yeah, I think a lot of folks are waiting for this one to go on sale. And I agree, if you don't want to display the figure, it would be quite useful for customs. I think you might be on to something in regards to the capes! :) Thanks for watching, Jonathan!

Some people just prefer the plastic mold Cape. And they did not add a jetpack, because the jetpack wouldnt fit anyways. It is crazy that Ringworld Mando is so hard to get in the US and canada. Here in Germany you can get himnpretty easy. Normally it is the other was around

Yeah, some folks really like plastic and I totally get it. The details are far better. Glavis definitely shot up in price really quick. That's interesting about your part of the world - you're right, it is usually the other way around. Weird... I appreciate you checking out the video!

Not sure why they decided to go back to the plastic cape. I mean the Ring World was so good. I actually replace my SHF with it as the per potion and paint was so good... ya the paint was not as shiny as SHF but the size was perfect and I didn't have to fork out MAFEX price.. but good video helping those in need to change the cape

Very strange decision I think. I can't think of a good reason why they would go back to the plastic cape and no jetpack other than company cost. It's a great figure though - and like you said, the proportions and paint are well done. Thanks so much for watching!

In the UK, that Mando and the Vader in the video are not available here. I would have bought both even though I have other Mando's and Vader's. The new Paz came today, I only bought it because of the galaxy packaging.

Funny how the market works... I guess the Archive Vader would be the one for you - but, you'd miss out on the mural packaging. I saw lots of Paz Vizsla at Walmart the other day. It looks good and it's nice to continue the mural. Thanks for watching, Nicholas!

Glavis, Mines and A list Vader are all available and in stock from In Demand toys (shop in Norwich/ on-line) in the UK right at this moment if you want them. Comics and Cocktails uk on-line had the Vader at least, last night...

I dont understand why no one talks about how the plastic cape can have a blow by the wind pose, just by pressing the back. Its great for possing pretending the wind is blowing!!! Also with the dark days officer, you can make the cape look awsome, just by folding it backwards

I'm aware of folding the capes backwards. Mando's plastic cape is a little too soft - it doesn't really stay put when you do the "bend it outwards" trick. At least none of mine will do that. The Dark Times Officer works a little better. Thanks for watching!
