What about extending the pond across - bunkers in the back - stone bridge - Augusta 12th Golden Bell

You've got one of the healthiest golf courses I've seen.
@Aarongla55 Жыл бұрын
For drainage, you could add a small rock ditch that can act as a drain Channeling the water to the dam ( similar to the drain running under the green. It would be a neat little obstacle to challenge golfers and you could build a cool rock or wooden bridge over the rock drain. Would add another level of complexity to the course but would look stunnin! Also it would seperate the grass types from the rye to the couch.

Great vlog I would put a deep faced bunker from where the gravel patch is to half way round and another small deep faced bunker by the side of the water
@danielrichardson3613 Жыл бұрын
Short right next to the dam and long left on the gravel pit. Best chance for having the widest variety of bunker shots and any pin on the bottom tier would be a beast from those traps.
@salo7227 Жыл бұрын
100% Short right and long left. Leave the front of the green open for running shots.

2 bunkers. One in the rock spot you pointed out making your approach shot need to be in line and correct distance. Then one between the small fairway and green so short shots dunk the sand.

@KiwiLawnie Жыл бұрын
Mate if you're looking from where you been hitting from, I reckon one pot bunker by front right next to the dam, and another one maybe a shallower one but a bit bigger at the back left corner . Would make for some interesting choice off the tees and good options for bunker practice, and give an option to land tee shot short left and get it rolling up inbetween the bunkers.

@99pudster99 Жыл бұрын
Back left as you see it from the tee box will give a nice scary down hill shot to a middle flag with pond there if you hit it too hard. Then maybe front right for the shorter tee box.

A small pothole bunker at the front in the corner of the green by the dam would be sweet... unless it acts as a water collection. But essentially, a penalty for hitting short but a save before for running into the water.

Any reason you're not taking the fairway right up to the collar of the green? It currently looks like there will be a strip of rough between the fairway and the green. If there is going to be rough there, that takes away a lot of ground game options. You can't run the ball into the green with a low punch.
@mitch_the_rookie Жыл бұрын
I think in a previous video there was mention the collar will be extended back up to the fairway. I agree with you though, it would be sweet to keep it open and smooth for a punch shot. Good for the kids too who probably cant fly the green.

BUNKERS - placement should challenge the tee shot….other wise it’s just for “show.”
@walkerthomas3560 Жыл бұрын
I figure it would be tough, but having the bunker near the front of the green would make the hole the most interesting. If you’re really feeling crazy, you could put one near the front and one along the left side of the green. It would make the hole incredibly tough
@sohunt18 Жыл бұрын
Completely objectively speaking about bunkers I’d have you put one to the right side of the far corner. Front left covering half the front edge of the green just tucking up towards the pond and I agree a decent sized one over the back

Do you empty/run water through the sprayer after you're done spraying? I also like to strain everything I put in the tank with like a 120 mesh paint strainer to help avoid clogs as well. The ryegrass is looking nice, I think some plantings around the edge of the yard is a good idea too. Can't wait to see how it turns out, already excited for the fairway that's for sure, you should consider putting in some bluegrass somewhere just to have some :).

@jasonvarley4964 Жыл бұрын
Bunker has to be front right. Otherwise you’ll lose a million balls running into the dam. It’s all downhill from the left so any bunker shots just won’t stop. Unless you do a big one on the left just off the green where the rye is.

@@LawnTips Not sure what a turf rate is but, the standard application rate is 20-150 gallons per acre (200-1,400 liters per hectare) for diluted sprays and 5-10 gallons per acre (50-100 liters per hectare) for concentrated ground sprays. The application rate for Brown Patch and Dollar Spot is approx. 2.5oz per 1000 sq feet for the Chlorosel Pro 720.
@LawnTips Жыл бұрын
@@WSW0424 so when I say turf rate, it should state on the label what rate is used for turfgrass. Some labels included fruit trees and orchards plus much more. Those rates sound correct to me mate! They are targeting turf disease so it sounds like they are the rates for turf
