USB C connectors are crap. They wear out under normal use leaving you unable to charge and use an external monitor when those functions nearly always worked for decades. I'm done paying extra for Apple when they're just a shit as the rest now and often worse. The screens on these Macbook Airs break under very light use too. I went through two screen replacements in just a few years of light use where cheap laptops for decades would have been 100% fine.

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch Intel 2020 and after I updated macOS Ventura 14.4 to Sonoma 14.5, the 4 USB-C ports stopped working. What could have happened? What is the name of that USB-C card you replaced? Where can I find?

@@dyhalmeida1 one of my left usb-c port on Mac Pro intel 2020 can't charge and do hdmi. But 3 other usb-c still work. I shut down my lap overnight and turn it on. And now, 4 port work normally
