I get bret was number 1 in wwe. But you can't have a guy from another company come over and beat your champion on day 1. That makes your guys look weak. That was something they kept in mind when bret came over the issue is no one had a direction for him. Make him start at El Dandy and work his way up, book it like babe Ruth calling his hone runs. Bret says I'm coming for the belt. And he sure can, in 3 months as he beats people on the way to the belt. And you get a chance to Elevate some mid card guys cause bret can make anyone look good.
@martynodonnell Жыл бұрын
I think one of the main issues with Bret was in WWF he was a big fish in a relatively small pond. WCW had a much bigger roster, stars who would not give up their spot and bigger draws than Bret. Who had proven themselves in WCW. Bret going to WCW made him just another star in an already heavily inflated talent pool.

It's kinda ironic that wwf guys that came to wcw were dominant upon their debut and remained dominant throughout their stay with wcw. AND When wcw guys came to wwf after the buyout they were all dominated by wwf guys. It's almost like Eric Bischoff and Vince agreed that wcw talent couldn't come close to competing with wwf talent. This isn't my opinion, but I do find this to be ironic that both bosses allowed wcw guys to be booked as weaker in most cases. I know there's a few cases that wcw guys came out on top during the nwo days but still.... that wasn't the case in most matches.

Not Starrcade 99 Starrcade 98 should have ended the NWO era. As for Bret Hart these ideas how he should have been used in WCW make sense. But having Bret Hart winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Super brawl is too soon. I say put the U.S championship on him first and build him up to a year to Starrcade to win the WCW championship. He doesn't need the Hogan treatment how Hogan debut in WCW in 1994. Hogan got the belt a month after his debut to the company and got the belt in his first match with Flair to win. Bret would have got criticism for that if that happen again but could be wrong.

And after their WM 14 match. She cried backstage because WWE didn't show her any respect. And only Owen Hart came up to her and said she did a great job. And as for Marc Mero, he wanted her to powerbomb him. He wanted her to get over. And she did. Her career skyrocketed and his didn't. Which is why wrestlers like Steve Austin didn't want to work with him. Also, nobody backstage liked Sable.

This is what ChatGPT came up with as an alternative for Triple H's career in 1999 (and for the foreseeable future) had he not chosen to betray DX as their leader and break off into singles competition: In 1999, Triple H was at the height of his popularity as the leader of the DX faction alongside his close friend, Shawn Michaels. However, in reality, Michaels was suffering from a back injury that would eventually force him to retire, leaving Triple H as the sole leader of DX. Instead of turning on his popular faction and breaking off into singles competition, Triple H makes the bold decision to remain a babyface and continue leading DX, with Chyna as his manager. The decision to stay with DX is driven by Triple H's loyalty to his friends and his desire to create a legacy as a team player. In promos, he emphasizes the importance of brotherhood and the need for wrestlers to support each other in their quest for success. Triple H's decision to remain with DX is met with mixed reactions from fans, as some believe that he is holding himself back by not pursuing singles competition. However, Triple H is determined to prove that he can achieve greatness as part of a team. One of Triple H's most memorable feuds during this period is with The Rock, who is skeptical of his decision to remain with DX. The two engage in a series of highly personal matches, with Triple H emerging victorious after a grueling battle. Another important feud during this time is with Stone Cold Steve Austin, who is initially skeptical of Triple H's loyalty to DX. The two eventually form a mutual respect for each other, and Triple H even helps Austin fend off attacks from the Corporation. As Triple H continues to lead DX, he becomes known for his team-oriented approach and his willingness to put others over. He helps elevate the careers of his fellow DX members, including X-Pac and Road Dogg, while also maintaining his status as one of the top stars in the company. Triple H's decision to remain with DX ultimately shapes the rest of his career, as he becomes known not only as a fierce competitor but also as a team player. He goes on to win multiple championships and becomes one of the most respected wrestlers in the industry. In promos, he emphasizes the importance of brotherhood and the need for wrestlers to support each other in their quest for success, a philosophy that he attributes to his time leading DX. Overall, Triple H's decision to remain with DX is a bold move that pays off in spades. He proves that one can achieve greatness as part of a team, and he cements his status as one of the most beloved and respected wrestlers of all time.

And I'm challenging myself to see how it would book and execute, part of the issue of the prompts for wrestling booking is issuing them like orders doesn't work well in some cases, I tend to speak to it like I'm talking to a buddy asking it to flex its substantial AI resources. After all, it has access to everything and kind of shoring it up in post. Ask it what it would do...with permaters. I just completed a 6 round draft for 2 separate brands, with 4 rounds, focusing on male talent, and 2 focus on a draft for a very large women's division. I fed at some personality parameters for 2 distinct GMs, and gave it some time parameters. In my case (1969 to the present for the talent pool.) And it so far has done a spectacular job pulling together rosters based on what I've shared for preferences, and that the distinct personalities of the general managers.

I kind of liked the idea of introducing new characters into the blood runs cold storyline. As an added spin for extra goofiness I think it would have been better to make them all masked characters. So it's Dean Malenko in a mask as "Shadowstrike". And it's also all an extra layer of Kayfabe. So Dean would also wrestle normal without his mask and never acknowledge that he is also Shadowstrike. The same for the other wrestlers. No inclusion of existing wrestlers as characters like DDP or Jericho. Just a revolving door of masked MK knock off characters played by existing wrestlers to create new twists to the storyline. Like it's all some fever dream in the mind of Glacier. It all ends at a PPV when Glacier takes a huge bump. The lights go out and when they come back, "Glacier" is back to his senses. He's lost the match and is just a regular dude. His opponent has no mask. Turns out "Glacier" was insane and the audience was experiencing the storyline from his insane point of view.

I would've probably thought the answer to NWO would be what Bischoff intended, which was to make it a separate "brand" like what WWE has done with Raw and SmackDown (take advantage of the NWO and WCW war by making it legitimate), and make it like the WWE brand extension. WCW and NWO can have their exclusive branded PPV's and championships, and then can have their big marquee PPVs be cross promotion, with trades and drafts happening every so often. I wonder if Chat GPT would have done that if you gave it the option to do a brand split. With Blood Runs Cold, first, I think you'd get a lawsuit from WWE if Inferno came in at the same time they debuted Kane. This Society angle could have worked given what WWE was doing around that same time with Undertaker (which I wonder if that kind of angle would be primed for WCW to try to throw a bone to the Undertaker to become interested in jumping). Finally, I am a BIG fan of having Daffney being in that kind of storyline. She was such an awesome talent that had a modest run in WCW and more in Impact, and I wish that she was able to get more exposure and have WWE take a chance on her. She would have fit in with some of the talent that WWE had at the time that she was getting a major push in Impact. I remember her angle with Tara and the pet spider and the first blood match she had where she ended up "enjoying" her getting busted open. She played that heel role perfectly. Shame what happened to her, and GPT made me miss her talent and wish that she was still around in her pre-CTE condition.

GPT did not screw up with the timeline. You asked it to write a better ending but you did not give a timeline for when it should end. In the ChatGPT scenario, the NWO storyline simply continued in to late 1999 in order to set up the ending.
