Yes, it is kinda repetitive, but that's actually a great thing, because while for many people the mistakes are obvious, for them they aren't, even tho they've seen them before on other drawings and the corrections, so repeating it many times with many different examples will probably help them, even if the episodes may feel repetitive

Yea sure but just consult the same video you are trying to learn take his advice and dive deeper by maybe getting a book or fucking think for yourself in all of these things without inconveniencing someone who clearly doesn’t want to do this or is responsible for your growth? Like wasn’t it blatantly obvious what was wrong about 90% of these submissions but people didn’t give it the ounce of required thought to become an artist? If you can’t do than art is sadly not for you most of the time. 80% of art is just critical thinking skills, creativity, and aesthetic sensitivity all of which you really can’t change. 😊

@@tylertemple2577 you can improve the vision skills, but if you only practice it by looking at the same piece over and over again, you won't properly get it, you will see the problems that that specific piece has, sure, Marcel doesn't have to do it all the time, but you can't just learn by watching the same video over and over again, you have to go through many different examples until you properly learn it and can apply it everywhere if Marcel doesn't want to continue making these videos it's fine, he doesn't have to, but being repetitive isn't a bad thing, while it may be annoying for people who can already tell those mistakes, beginners can't, because they haven't developed that ability yet, so they can just tell that there's something wrong but not know what 👍

hey Marcel, you might not read this but this series is probably one of my favorite that you've done, and it's a shame that they aren't doing too well for you to continue I feel like the reason why could be because of the fact that this is on your second channel, there's a lot less traction going on here, and i've seen people (on tiktok mainly) who do these types of art review/fixing your artwork and that people seem to enjoy, maybe check out what they do differently from your format? overall; if you're not enjoying making them and not making enough money from it, that's totally understandable and fair.

How are these videos the most unpopular!? It's EXTREMELY helpful to have a professional give honest feedback and critique your own work. Its the only way to improve plus even if it isn't your own work being critiqued you can still see examples of what your struggling with so you can adapt the lesson (THAT YOU JUST LEARNED) into your own work. Idk, it's crazy to not enough people are using these videos as a free resource for self reflection and improvement. I know my proportions are garbage so seeing this was very helpful, i know better now how my faces are supposed to look rather than just saying "something's off 🤔" and never being able to tell what it is. As far as lighting is concerned, I haven't gotten that far yet 😅 BUT I'll definitely be referencing this video when i get their! 😎 💯

I didn't find the Art Aid videos repetitive. They were my favorite videos and the ones I could absorb the most information from, because you were showing and "correcting" the examples on the screen (please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your tutorials are bad). I would even recommend you post the videos on your main channel, but since the first episode had few views (compared to the other videos on your channel) I don't think it would change much. But the most important thing is that you had the courage to try! I just feel bad that I wasn't able to send you a drawing. Whatever your plans for the future, I wish you good luck!

I would think beginners would want to watch videos like these. I know I used to back when I started. The beginner phase of binging "how to blah blah" lasts about 8 months, then fades out. Marcel, please consider that many of us were beginners when we got hooked on your stuff. Now, we've graduated and want more advanced content we can relate to.

I really liked this format even if it is a bit repetitive, if the tips are alot of the same it helps to see how easy it can be to fix the drawings. However i'v just started to try to learn how to draw so this could be why i find thise so interessting...
