Not many guitar tutors have the balls to say “you suck”, but I admire your honesty. I needed this reality check to improve my timing. Thank You!

Gotta say thanks again, yes I’m semi retired and I have had nothing but time, and every time I get free time, I practice. My wife thinks I’m a bit nuts practicing along with you for years! That made this an easy lesson, my timing is good, and hand eye coordination is finally where I wanted it for years, but inside, I still suck, and I hear your voice telling me so. Always room for improvement, even at 62 or 3, I don’t remember. My point being, it has to be done again and again. Now I have to focus on theory, on guitar. Theory for trumpet playing is burned into my brain, but guitar is a bit different. Thanks, I’m chatty today

That timing practice technique fixed my timing issues. Of course, just as you said the trick is practicing quarter notes at 60bpm for two weeks. After two weeks of quarter notes at 60pm. Perfect timing!! Thank you sir!

When you suck at triplets you get a NO NO NO. When you suck at 5's you get a NO NO NO NO NO. And every NO is timed perfectly :) ;) Thanks Pebber. Cheers, Silvije

Get a high voltage metronome that shocks the hell out of you if you drift. Either you’ll get better or start liking the shocks. A win win.

Pebber, I don’t know how to thank you. I’m sure it’s date stamped but over 10 years ago I found your daily practice video. I have been doing one version or another of your practices almost every day for hours. To be honest, obsessively playing patterns and tremelo picking has become my method of coping with the lockdown. I have to mindful of the noise usually, so I practice a lot, unplugged with a small piece of felt between the strings and the bridge pickup. It’s muted and tolerable to my wife. How do you feel about this? Otherwise I wouldn’t be practicing at all?

Damn Pebber! I know my timing sucks but do you have to be so damn harsh lol 😆. Great lesson! My metronome is broken... it won't follow my rythm! Your metronome is way loud and cutting off your voice and guitar sound.

Hi Pebber, I feel I should pay you for the number of times I played along, ten years ago. You made a good player, but I’m always curious. No never say hi, so I’m convinced you’re an advanced AI, as you never age. Lol steve

Cram as many notes into as possible. Hitting open note on E string?? He should use chromatic octave dissplacment excersize. Like his pupil brian carol displays at warp speed. Sounds like one foot is walking the opposite direction of the other. Dont know if its coming or going. Also 3 fingerd tapling nubs computer goin nuts from 80s. Astroids, centepede, crust.'The worst' by polyphia is the only song you might be able to play, from polyphia.
